If they're aimed at little kids and the plots don't mean anything to you, then, to be blunt, why is it you care? Like I said, it is what it is, so why make arguments to not just be thankful or, in your case, indifferent?

Bobby said it's going to be written as if it could be canon, but there's just bound to be inconsistencies. So it's basically going to be like Batman Adventures, or the Justice League Unlimited tie-in. Or for a more recent example: The All New Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
Shut up. |

It's better if there aren't too many conflicting continuities going on at the same time. As much as I love Archie now, as a kid I wondered why Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady and the Technodrome were hardly in it.
We probably won't have much confliction here if the series starts in mid Season 1 era. |

You know I just realize we might get to see how April meets Splinter for the first time in this. Something the cartoon oddly skipped over.

I hardly see the big deal. Even as a kid I had no problem facing that the OT and the Archie comics were similar but two different continuities. I was never wondering why Irma was never in the comics or why Oyuki was never on the cartoon show or anything like that. I took it as they were.

^ This.
And don't forget the Mirage and Movie continuities...we had 4 growing up (if we knew about all of them) and it wasn't that overwhelming.

sweeeeeeeeeeet! can't wait for this.
honestly... i don't see what all the fuss is about. it's another freakin' Turtles comic series we can enjoy! i'd rather have another continuity that writers can freely move about than trying to be consistent with a show. 3 continuities aren't so bad. now cut it out and let's be grateful the Turtles are back (in different forms... but still... back). to put it short... WE HAVE OPTIONS OF CONTINUITY ONCE AGAIN =] |

Funny how the Dreamwave series got canceled before it had a chance to split off from 4kids continuity. They only made 2 new stories which easily fit into the early Season 1 era.

I haven't watched the show. Wonder if I'll understand what's going on.
Meh, guess I'll have to wait and see. Excited about Brizuela on art, regardless. He was one of my faves from Tales Vol. 2. |

I was wondering why you haven't been reviewing eps of the Nick show on your site. Why haven't you been watching?

I moved right before it started airing and no longer have cable. I'm sure the eps are on youtube or somewhere, but I dunno. I was sort've just gonna wait until there's a DVD or something. That's actually how I watched the 4Kids series; through the DVDs.
