Swearing is a crutch...I think smart writing and good acting can avoid cursing all together and still convey the same set of emotions.

would not be surprised f we here Mike,Raph or Vernon drop the fbomb once

Raph out of Anger

Mike and Vernon for Laughs....as a few of us posted in other threads Pg13 movies are allowed the use of the word once before being reviewed for an R rating determining context

Swearing is a natural part of the language and vocabulary, as long as it's written naturally like any other dialogue should be in a movie there wouldn't be any problem for a character to cuss. Prudes will always take offense anyway, be it language, sex or violence.

But, I am amazed that swearing and nudity can sway the ratings more then violence and death. I find that hilarious

I thought they were going for realism in this version. Its why the turtles look so weird. And swearing, teenagers and fighting is very part of the real world.

I hope that this movie is PG-13. That way, we could possibly have proper action.

It will also make this the very first Turtles movie that isn't a PG.

Sometimes that's a good thing. Do you really want to see sex in a TMNT movie? Either she get's it on with Vernon or.... it's with one of the Turtles.

Why would there be a sex scene in a TMNT movie? What purpose does it serve for the story? Please insert some logic before thinking about "possible" scenarios before posting. We didn't see a sex scene in Avengers, or Winter Soldier, or Amazing Spider-Man, or Thor, or Incredible Hulk.

No, but we did see kissing, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some awkward lip locking in this. Why else give the Turtles human looking lips?

There won't be a sex scene, but one of the turtles will walk in on April while she is taking a shower, no doubt.

Well, I won't be surprised if they take a note from Nick toon, just reverse the roles with the Turtles, where maybe April bends down and Raph is mesmerized and Donnie snaps him out of it by telling him it won't work.

But then again, maybe it is April that is being the friskie one.

To allow the actors expressions and emotions to come through and enhance the overall performance; that's my guess...

...but I do remember from the original movie, Mikey kissing the television screen professing he was in love. The Turtles having romantic feelings for April was always so strange to me...even more so in the Nick cartoon, but that's another thread entirely.

It's been said enough, but...

PG-13. I would bet money (and I don't bet) that it'll be PG-13.

Hopefully we will get a more serious TMNT movie, and no more kiddie stuff!

Not sure if someone can find it but during that behind the scenes show, there was a ad with a kid that turned his bike into the assault van from the movie. And it was hyping products and at the end it had the movie logo and it was rated PG-13.

will never happen...and i am not saying this to be mean, but as long as TMNT has marketing value it will always be aimed at Kids...sure we may get a TMNT movie with some adultish tones but its main audience will always be kids

its the same thing the power rangers crowd keeps forgeting
