Prime 1 Henson 1990 Movie Turtles Statues
I hope we hear more about these real soon. These are apparently 1/4 scale and with that means a hefty price tag I'm sure Photo from facebook

Im glad we are seeing these but I would have preferred 1/6 Scala Figures like Hot Toys. I'm not sold on Leo or Raph's heads and expressions but I have to say Im excited to finally see these renditions in collectible form.

Mikey aside, their facial likeness is a bit lacking. Leaps & bounds ahead of Playmates, but still.
Wish these were collector figures rather than statues. I'd buy them in a heartbeat. Rad either way. I hope this means we'll see more Henson turtle stuff.

100% agree. I hope Prime1 isn't the only company now permitted to use their likeness from the movie.

At 1/4 scale, they are probably going to be similar to the 2014 style statues that they have been making for ages. They are nice, but if they also carry a $700 price tag each and require several cubic feet of space to display, I don't know where I would be able to put them.

Agree the faces/heads could be a little more accurate, though otherwise those are pretty cool.
Really love the base Leo's standing on. Edge of a rooftop, cool idea. |

I'm just wondering if these would fit inside a detolf from Ikea when displayed together.

Oh man, I love seeing 1990/Henson merchandise. More to come, please? Please?
These look really sharp, aside from some of the faces being a bit off. Mikey in particular looks great. And even if his face isn't quite accurate, I love Donnie's expression.

These are really awesome, aside from the heads being too big (or something being off with the heads at least)....Definitely top Playmates movie figs but for the price, I think I am out. If they release a Shredder though, I would have to seriously consider that!

Why are they killing my bank account?! Why!
Seriously though, these look pretty sweet even if they are a tad off. I really would love to get all of them but maybe I'll just stick with getting my favorite and call it a day. |

It's funny - I've wanted something like this for so long, and yet...it's not impressive. It looks cheap. They're missing expression.

Yeah, 1/4 scale is a bit nuts on size. They're cool, but the likeness is definitely lacking for something that's going to have a super high price tag. Their PD TMNT statues looked spot on. That's the quality they need to be aiming for. I would probably pop for the entire set if accuracy was top-notch. There's no telling what kind of reference that the Henson Co has to pull from.
Is Raph the same exact pose as the fan-made statues from a few years ago? The chain on the chucks is killing me, haha! Likeness and size nitpicks aside, I'm not sure if I'll be able to say no to a 1990 Shredder statue. Fingers crossed. |

Good God!
I've been wanting something like this for a long time. But quater scale is excessively large, and given the expected pricetag based on previous releases, i agree with those here craving more precise likenesses. So close to a win though. |

I wish I could have these in my life, but for 700 bucks a pop I doubt I can ever justify it. They're not perfect but seeing them in person might get me over the hump.
