I like how angry Frank (the guy in the trucker hat) was. lol.
I don't like 30 Rock or Tina Fey, but I admit that was very amusing. Thank you.

I do recall Supernatural making a direct TMNT reference once. I don't recall the episode, but I'm sure it was last season or the one before that by one of the brothers. (I was channel-surfing and apparently viewed the scene with the Turtle citation by fluke.)

I'll have to look into that, as I wouldn't mind helping out on this project. I'm such a nerd like that. Heh.

Edit: Here's the episode title:

Oh, it also had a Kolchak reference. Double bonus (for me, anyway).

There is an episode of 2 and a half men where Charlie is playing the OT Ninja Turtles theme on the piano and makes a comment how that song bought him his ocean front house. I read somewhere here on the forums that the executive producer of 2 and a half men actually wrote the OT TMNT theme song.

It's been verified by many people that Two and a Half Men producer Chuck Lorre was infact the man behind the original toon's theme song.

There's another Full House reference. I remember it had to do with a kid DJ was babysitting. He gets his head stuck in the bannister. I don't remember what the reference was exactly, except that I think he calls her Krang.

The episode was called Misadventures in Babysitting during the show's third season. It would have been roughly 1990 when it aired. This is the line from DJ's charge whom was named Brian: "I'm a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and you are the evil Lord Krang from Dimension X! Now, kneel before me or I'll ninyiutsu you!"

In the next season Michelle has to put up with a fellow-preschooler named Howie who is wearing Donatello Ninja Turtle pajamas. Despite wearing Don's color he says" Lets play Ninja Turtles!". "I am Raphael of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and you are the Evil Shredder! Your going down bad guy!" annoyed Michelle leaves the room.

Earlier in that season Joey wears the same but of course adult sized- Donatlelo pjs when attending Stephanie's Mother-Daughter Slumber Party as a fill-in in "Slumber Party". A sleeping bag of the Ninja Turtles is also shown.

The fourth and I think only other Ninja Turtles reference was in "Grand Gift Auto" in the sixth season which the police officer that informs Joey the car he bought DJ was a stolen vehicle, has his innocence proven by the thing in his room and it was Ninja Turtle slippers that ultimately convinced her.

I guarantee alot more people know who Krang is than Tina thinks!

There's an episode of Tiny Toons that spoofed Sherlock Holmes where strangely; Ninja Turtle was considered an insult; Buster says it as an insult to Montana Max, then their horse carriages go underground, in the sewer, and make two turtles emerge from the sewer crying.

There's another episode of Tiny Toons where a turtle that resembles Michelangelo asks Mr. Popular if it would be cool to dress as your idol and buy his stuff; Buster says no; and he says he'll have to return the Mr. Popular merchandise.

There's a Family Guy episode where Adam West and Meg are dating and they're watching t.v. and you hear the OT Ninja Turtles theme song.

In that new show MAD; they did a spoof of the Ninja Turtles.

The Cinema Snob did a review of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles parody. I obviously can't say the name of it, for the sake of the Spanish speakers out there.

I remember another Turtles reference in Full House. In the episode where Becky finds out she's pregnant and is playing Pictionary with the family so they can guess what she's saying. When she says it's a movie, Michelle blurts out, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!"

dunno if chuck lorre does this on all his shows, but at the very end of every big bang theory episode, there's a card with a journal-like entry on it. they range from comedic essays to anecdotes about his career. You gotta pause em to read em, as they only show for a few seconds.

i dunno what episode specifically, but there's one where he talks about writing for animation, including episodes of the muppet babies and the ot theme song.

There is an episode of Northern Exposure where Ed can be seen reading a TMNT comic. I'm not sure which episode, but I believe it's before season 4.

I picked this issue up today and was trying to search for a thread on "TMNT parodies" or something like that. I figured I'd just post it here, as this was the closet thing I could find.

Marvel's "The Impossible Man" in his 1991 "Summer Vacation Spectacular"

I've only flipped through the pages, but it doesn't look like he actually does any more Ninja Turtles schtick throughout the rest of the issue.

Tmnt references in other shows.

So has any one noticed any lately? I saw one in how I meet your mother, and one in see dad run.

I caught the one is See Dad Run. The son tells the parents that his sister (don't know ANY of their names XD) deleted his episodes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to make room for Dora The Explorer.

Pretty cool reference in How I Met Your Mother tonight. Mentioned the original comic and Eastman & Laird. Most TMNT references in shows like that are about the Fred Wolf cartoon.

I know some in Full House. DJ had to babysit a little boy and the boy pretended he was a ninja turtle and I think he pretended DJ was Shredder or Krang and that they're from Dimension X. There's another one where Stephanie went to a slumber party with Joey. Joey wore ninja turtles pajamas.

On Saved By The Bell The College Years when they were decorating their dorm, Zack told Screech no ninja turtle stuff (I was disappointed in Zack for saying that).
