It's still incredibly creepy, though.
Especially at his age ... |

Nope. Just doing what anyone would do in their circumstances.
Lest we forget, whenever women get divorced in their 40s they almost immediately start f*cking guys half their age, and nobody says sh*t about that. It's just common sense, people don't wanna f*ck old, dried-up broken-down people, they wanna f*ck young, sexy people full of raging hormones. That's true of everyone, but when men indulge it's supposedly "creepy". No, it isn't. "Suspect", as in "He obviously only cares about the girl(s) for sex and nothing else"? Well sure, but who cares? It's their business. ------------------ Enough of that nonsense, I have an Actual One, and I'm kind of nervous. So Zoe, like a lot of dogs, has one of those black-spot tumors on her leg. Riley's had one for a very long time, too, and it's nothing, and Zoe's previous owner told us that she'd had it checked out and the vets said it wasn't worth bothering with. The last couple of days, she won't stop fussing with it. She almost never bothers with it at all, but lately she licks and nips at it constantly, and she's chewed it pretty raw. It's also gotten a little bit bigger but I can't tell if it's just swollen from her chewing on it or not. I'm nervous but it'll be a couple weeks before we can even take her to get looked at. People keep telling me not to worry so much but I can't help it, she's my baby. I hope it's nothing but she's acting weird and I don't like it. Otherwise she's perfectly fine and normal. I'unno, I just can't help but worry. She's not quite 6 yet and I really can't bear the thought of anything bad happening to her. Fingers crossed it's nothing.

It's between adults not a minor. If She consents it's none of your business regardless of how it makes you feel. Only thing creepy is how it makes you feel because your thinking about it enough that it makes you uneasy.

Also, from experience, and eyes and a brain that thinks I can say that there are a large number of people out there who side with naysaying something (i.e. "it's creepy") that didn't need to be said. Likely because they are, themselves, intrigued by it and are compelled to say something but err on the side of naysaying so as to be safe in society for their weird thoughts. Hence "you're thinking about it enough that it makes you uneasy" is a truth one way or the other. But let's spin it to the other side. More importantly, even if Papenbrook has a point, even if she is right - how about commentary on what it speaks to about women who will allow themselves to get into a "creepy" situation with an older guy simply for the fame or money aspect? But yeah sure - it's DiCaprio doing the best he can at life who is creepy. |

Those kind of age gaps aren't for me, in either direction, but if it's two consenting adults then that is their legal choice to make, cringy or not.
The ones that are an issue are those entertainers who have dated minors with a big age gap, and it's just all secrets and rumor and then the relationship is magically public once the the minor hits 18. Something I saw in passing in recent weeks was about that, and one person on the list having kept jumping to a new minor once the previous one was 20-whatever. Frigging groomers. |

Some people need to leave this planet. Or at least lose their license and never drive again if they are really so self centered and moronic, making them a danger to everyone else.
Take this highway intersection for example: Three straight lanes, a left turn, and a right turn divided from the intersection by one of those triangle patches of median. Went through there today. A-hole that was the first car in the CENTER lane decided there is NO problem at all with just TURNING RIGHT from that lane, beyond that triangle bit, cutting right across in front of the car in the right lane. I'm glad I was a few back... and glad the car up front did not get into an accident, but if that asshole did get slammed and totaled, I would not have been sad. Hope they next do it in front of either a dump truck or an unmarked police car. Or hell, even a marked one, they're clearly too stupid to notice anyway if just finding someplace to turn around (maybe the shopping center just after the light??) was just too damn hard to think of. &#@% that person with a barbed cactus. |

Yeah, people like that are nuts. Can't stand that sh*t.
Zoe's still licking that spot but not as much. I made a vet appointment for Tuesday afternoon and my mother-in-law is gonna pay for the visit, so that's nice of her. On the phone they said it's probably nothing to be concerned about but it's worth taking a look at. Like it's definitely swollen but that might just be from her chewing on it. If she keeps it up we might need to stick her in a cone but I really don't wanna do that.

Best of luck, hopes she's fine and maybe just irritated it somehow, and then more-so herself.
If the poor girl gets stuck with a cone she needs to convince the humans she also deserves the kind filled with ice cream. |

Haha, she does get special doggie ice cream treats on occasion. She very much appreciated them on some of those 100+-degree days we had a few weeks ago. She seems to like the Cheese & Bacon flavor ones best. I forget who makes them but yeah, ice cream for dogs. What a world.
She's a very spoiled puppy, between those and the special doggie sandwich cookies and the dog biscuits dipped in real peanut butter that we get for her. She adores peanut butter. And that's in addition to the "regular" snacks like Beggin' Strips and so forth that she also gets. Plus once in a while I make the dogs some real food, some chicken and rice with peas and carrots and scrambled eggs. They treat that sh*t like it's Christmas. So yeah, spoiled puppies! But they deserve it. She's been better today about leaving that spot alone, and it looks like some of the swelling went down, so that's good. She's hardly been messing with it. Maybe a bug bit it or something and it got irritated. She hates bugs; in fact, she eats those too. Sometimes we'll be playing in the yard and she'll get distracted by a fly or a mosquito and won't pay attention to anything else until she catches and eats it. She's a nut. But yeah, hopefully it'll all be fine.

Wow... went looking for the right button batteries at Target after seeing they had them in stock (because Walmart of course sucks at having things) and for $2.49, only to find a price on the hook in-store of well over $7. Wtf, Target. And I wanted 3 packs of them. Guess I have to order for pick-up, no way in hell am I paying that in-store markup.

Man, I can't imagine why a woman would ever need that many batteries. Wink Wink.

Really, you aught to be wondering why a TMNT fans needs all those batteries. Because in all honesty... they're for my 2014 talking Leo figure, as well as a recently acquired 2012 Shredder and talking plush Donnie for my nephew. Hopefully the latter two work. Adult priorities, damn it. |

Officially posted my last candid/personal pic on FB today. Can't even post a picture of me and my dog without people making stupid "jokes".
I spend more time Deleting stupid comments than interacting with people. Once I'm officially done wrestling, that's it, I'm just gonna delete my profile. I've had enough of people being stupid. I've said it before and I'll say it again: More people really ought'a kill themselves.

Making stupid jokes about a pic of someone and their pet...they must have very little going on in their own lives.

I had to Block a guy I've known since my first day of Kindergarten.
My lack of faith in people is constantly rewarded, unfortunately. This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things. It's whatever, I only ever got FB in the first place to promote shows, remember Birthdays, and hit people up via Messenger. I'm most likely only gonna wrestle another year anyways, after that I can just put the dozen or so "Important People" Birthdays on a note on the fridge or something. When I was dealing with that bullsh*t back in late July and got to reconnect with some of my old friends, a couple of them are doing VERY well for themselves, and those people all had something in common: No FB, no Twitter, no message boards, no social media whatsoever, or if they had FB they only had like 10 people on it, actual friends and family. So basically, like, there's a proven theorem with an identifiable common denominator: If you wanna be happy and successful, you can't be f*cking around with this nonsense at all. There's no upside to it, it's a waste of life. Thankfully this place seems to be taking care of itself since it's down to about 4 people. It'll get shut down before I end up quitting, so I'm not too concerned about that but I always wonder what exactly is taking so long.

I have been sick for going on three weeks
edit: small rant, I got tested for for covid-19 and it came back negative. Which is good, but at the same time that is all the walk in center seemed to care about and I did not get a straight answer as to what is actually wrong with me. Just that I do not have covid-19. I wish doctors would pay attention to other ailments other than just covid-19. There are other things that can make you sick and lay you low other than virus.

It's like back in Spring when I was sick for 3 weeks or so real bad, I didn't go to the doctor because Why Bother but I tested negative for Covid. And my friends were like "At least it's not Covid, good for you!" and I'm like, "Everyone I know who had Covid got over it in 3 days, right now I WISH that's all it was." The pandemic and the fear-mongering got everyone's head all twisted around, it's nuts. Hope you feel better, though.
