I’m not sure to laugh or cry. Maybe I’ll do one now and one later. TMNT does attract a lot of creative folks, especially on the art side of things.

This is the fourth TMNT/Batman comic crossover now after the two before and the Nick/B:TAS one, I wonder why we're getting so many of them. From what I remember the sales of the last one weren't that spectacular, I think only in the 20,000's or so.

It's probably going to be some Apokolips tech so the more prominent villain on the DC side of things will be Darkseid. As pointed out earlier in the thread if that's the case it would be a good excuse to get other DC cameos in. we know that the turtles have at least spoken to some of the Justice League off panel during the first Batman crossover. The possibility they may have had a proper meeting we didn't see pleases me. |

When this crossover is done, maybe there will be a third TMNT/Ghostbusters crossover as well.

It's convenient tie-in timing for the spring/summer release of the movie, so that's probably a factor of "better to try now than later."

I enjoyed the first Batman crossover and can more or less fit it into canon, but the second one was just a mess. |

I'm really liking the Elseworlds approach to this story. Might as well go all-in with the craziness!

What would that combined universe's Leatherhead look like, I wonder?
And where's the Harley Quinn/Karai mash-up?! Or Professor Hugo Stockman, complete with sunglasses that look like fly eyes?! |

Seems like a good excuse not to bother with a coherent plot. Again.
On the bright side, at least Bane is safe this time.

True, but on the flip side of the coin, if they're just mashing a bunch of crap up WITHOUT worrying about the story, it could actually work better than when they TRIED to have a story (twice) and it sucked (twice).

Oh god, you're probably right. And this writer seems to love including Bane even though he doesn't know anything about him so...

Elephant Bane and "RAWR VENOM MAKE ME STRONG" Bane. Why not a third Hun/Bane mashup.

Also, very few of the DC Elseworlds tales were reputed for being good "stories," but many of them were still a lot of fun.
