A version of him. I don't follow Rise but this is a flash back of the Shredder myth. Weither of not this is in fact the season 2 design will remain to be seen.

Oh there's no doubt about that. Playmates' turtle figures for this series look nothing like the show's art style. & from what we've seen of Shedder in animation so far, I'd say they missed the mark with this toy too.

If anyone wants this... it's on the Toy Loft amazon store (Playmates Toys official amazon store.. or at least that's the theory people have had for a few years)

This is what Michael Bay would do for a Super Shredder
Reminds me of the final Megazord battle monster from PR Turbo (with claws for hands)

I bought one off EBay for 45....not bad of price. I know some hate the look of this Shredder but I like it and wanted to have a Shredder from every cartoon version. |

Hmm. Those are basic Rise figures? That is odd scaling then. lol
I'm sure it won't, but I almost hope it reflects the real scaling in the series. (Including the strangely tiny head.) A Shredder no taller than Raph would be kind of amusing. edit: Thanks to the magic of having both a basic Rise Leo and a tape measure within reach, I have to agree, it's hard to see how that could be 6", even to the highest point of his helmet. Leo is only about 4.5", with a head (measured from chin) is under an inch, so that Shredder is definitely not a full 1.5" taller... Last edited by IndigoErth; 08-02-2019 at 09:35 AM. |

I'm thinking this isn't going to be the final design of Shredder for the show. The SDCC packaging (which is awesome) has artwork that also appears on a scroll in the show, so maybe there will be a "final form" version will have a different appearance.

Now on sale for 29.97.
I know a lot of people are not so keen on this figure, but it's not a bad price and probably will soon disappear https://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutan...dp/B07VCH3RR2/ |
