Modified Party Wagon

This was my first go at something like this. There’s a few things I’d different if I did another one. I initially wanted to make it so neca cartoon figures would fit. As I kid I never liked the super exaggerated rear wheels. I resized those, smoothed the visor and dropped the radar mast, smoothed our the windows and added the side pieces from cartoon in their place. The gun mount and nose piece were 3D printed by a fellow fan I found on reddit. Hope everyone likes it.

I thought about making the raised rear portion of roof as well as the cartoon type spoiler. I took a few liberties with it. I have a 3D printed front bumper with the grimacing mouth but I also left that off bc I never cared for it.

Sorry lame joke. Leo tells Donnie the roof of the Turtle Van needs to be 3 feet higher so he can practice while he's driving in the episode it is introduced..

Thank you. Yeah, I only got into the comics when I got older so in the late 80's the television version was all I knew.
I've got some more stuff I'm working on that I'll hopefully be able to post soon.

All four of the neca turtles will fit. The front seat is modified so that the Neca figures will sit lower and their heads are at the correct height.
I'd like to get a rough channel six news van if I do another one so it will already have the solid side door and computers in back. If I'd have thought about it first thats what I'd have used.

That is a very cool Party Wagon. When I was a kid... I hated the interior blocky yellow design and my dad was an artist so he saw an episode with me and from memory hand painted the inside blue... and added homemade stickers to look like Donnie's turtle gear/equipment. He also modified the seating so the OG TMNT figures and the April figure could better fit. It wasn't perfect but it suited a 6 year old kid.

Your van looks great!

Cheers!

Thank you🙂 Id love to make the interior more representative of the show as well and eventually may. I made some pieces that will fit above the rear seats to make the computer screens that I can back light. Just have to find time to do it.

That thing is so amazing man.

Also, I honestly thought that I replied to this thread telling you that before, but... I dunno I guess not?

I'm totally enamored with that upgrade. I sincerely want to do this to my van now.
