Nice tatts everyone! I've been on the fence about getting a TMNT one for years. I think if I end up getting one it'll be more subtle than the actual turtle. Like a sai with a red bandanna tied to it or something.

All these TMNT Tattoo's are amazing. My 21st birthday is this year and I've always wanted tattoos but just never could make myself do it. I love the turtles and everything they represent but I just can't stop asking myself am I doing it because of what they represent or just because I know it will look cool

A tatoo's supposed to have a personal meaning so peoples who make it cuz they know it'll look cool are just sheeps Imo. print it on a shirt if you're no sure, that's cheaper lol.
I don't want to be mean on Fans but I've seen much failed tmnt tatoos all over the web , you have to find a great (and I mean Great) tatoo artist first.
think about your design a long time before , cause when the ink mix your blood, it's over.
also projecting yourself in the mirror with the turtle tatoo you want n' Imagine how it'll look in the future, Is not a bad option.

A tmnt tatoo doesn't look cool for somebody wu is not a fan. Except for you, that can marks you permanently as a "nerd" or "geek" or whatever you wanna call it ( think about supermans fans who tatoo the "S" or whatever licenses) and I mean no offenses because I love tmnt. I love Ink, have 3 and want a turtle too, one day.
so honestly, don't think a tmnt tatoo's that cool for the "real world" except for us around here . peoples, Girls..will think it's childish, not Badass.

this is where your totally wrong...everyone and their mother digs the tattoo...(mine atleast)...ESP girls...they love it

plus at the point that my leg is it they think of the art side to it. not what it means. what it represents is my childhood and what i did EVERYDAY since i first was introduced to the turtles. and even today...i still collect...and everyone knows that. and who cares whats "cool" for OTHER people...what does anyone else opinion matter about YOUR tattoo? classic saying applies to this...if someone said itd be a good idea to jump off the empire state building would you?...

now let me tell you that I like your tatoo , but You're not the only tatooed tmnt in the world , I could show you some nerds who ruined their skins because of Turtles and trust me , somes fans might regret what they done , especially if the tatoo artist was lame or/and the original design sucked.
