Irma
You guys remember Irma, right? She was April's super model friend and desk clerk for Channel 6. I'm sure as children, we all had the hots for her. I don't know, the thought of her beauty just popped into my head and I thought I'd share.
[Mod edit - I HAD too fix the title... you spelled her name wrong! ;p ~HT ] |

Irma, a super model? Well, maybe that frumpy look was just a cover up. It would explain why she was always lusting after different guys.

Actually I actually do think Irma is cute! Also she reminds me of the librarians in old movies that don't get much attension until they take off their glasses and untie their hair and, it turns out they were sexy all along!
Although I thought they were sexy before too. I like nerdy girls! (I make passes at girls with glasses!) |

Exactly my point. I bet if she didn't have glasses on all the time, we might've seen a really attractive side of her.

Urma was despraste for dates, she even went out with a robot. She was cool though, I agree that she was neglected like Velma from scooby doo. Urma was cute.

That's another thing I was gonna mention. This isn't just about a cartoon girl, it's about all girls who might come off nerdy looking. It's kinda like that saying goes: "Don't judge a book by its cover!"

Irma was NEVER a supermodel, and you know, honestly, I think her character and personality were a lot more intresting than Apri's. Irma was sarcastic "e.g. Shredder - "Ahh, miss O'Neil, how good to see you", Irma - "And what am I? Chopped liver?"
Also, she calls Shredder Mr.Shredder, I think that is SO cute.. And does anyone remeber the Turtle Terminator, where Irma was kidnapped and replaced by a turtle killing bot, and all the while, she was cooking lunch for Bebop and Rocksteady and Stredder, and burning it, thus forcing them to go out and get chinese, and Shredder says my favorite line "Look at this, future ruler of the world reduced to eating chinese take-out".... Um.. I digressed there for a sec... But I just thought it was funny that they got her food too.... Irma, being guy crazy, also askes Shredder when she is kidnapped if they can kidnap her tomorrow cause she has a lunch-date today. Irma is definatelly awsome as anything, and she is also always defending April to Vernon, I really liked Irma better, cause I think she was funnier and braver than April - if you notice, Irma never just sits and takes it, she fights . "Turtles fight with honor" - the turtles "And women fight with purses!" - Irma I love her lines. p.s. GIRLS IN GLASSES ARE SEXY DAMN IT! Even if they are just reading glasses!

Irma is consider as one of those people who spend time at the science fair. She's not my favorite thou. The only episode I remenber about Irma is the one where she believes that she can take down the Shredder by herself. She prefect for the old April. I hope that the New April has some non-Irma like friends.

I have all 3 TMNT Movies, current Toon, and old school Toon on DVD. |

One thing I never understood about Irma's character was why they changed it. For the first three seasons, she was always pining after men, always looking for the perfect guy. She even dated that REX-1 robot, she was so desperate.
But after that, she became kind of a boring character. She lost that "always lusting after Mr. Right" angle and just became April and Vernon's sidekick. "I did what to the anchorman?" - Irma, from "The Turtle Terminator" |

Alot went a tad flat after the first two seasons. Irma was quite cool when she was looking for a guy.
