New TMNT Summer Shorts Series

They're obviously proud of these TMNT: Team-Up shorts. I can't imagine why. They're terrible.

Just think of all the other styles for animated shorts they could be doing but instead, they waste their time on this over and over again.

I expect better regardless. I can see the dislikes increasing on the Nick YouTube channel with every new Team-Up. Therefore, I'm hoping this is the last one.

I get these shorts are harmless stuff, but it's getting ridiculous now. There's four of these to my knowledge and they're all the same. Very poor animation and random humor that I'm not laughing at.

Just show another short like We Strike Hard, the robot one, or even a short like last year. These Team-Ups are cheap as hell.

Hey, we're not really going to know that until we actually get to see something more about it. Hopefully it's nothing like this, but lord knows it can't be ruled out for the time being...



I wish the people who did the 'We Strike Hard' short had done several... *sigh* (But yes, they struck hard and made one of the better ones.)

Considering they all purposely made their voices sound like the originals, when they could have played the characters with entirely different voices, I'd say so. It's not as easy to mimic actors voices from 30 years ago.

I hate myself but I've grown to like TMNT team up, they at least get one or two chuckles out of me, that's more than the humor of 2012 or 2k3 ever did for me. They also remind me of those old newgrounds/atomfilms/shockwave fan animated shorts we had before youtube.

They're imitating the original voices because it's pretty much based on the OT, the designs of the rat king and casey jones are from the OT so they just went all out. I'd rather have different takes but whatever.

My two takes on why there are so many Team Up shorts is either because they're so cheap that they were able to make 20 minutes worth of material instead of blowing their budget in 4 minutes like the other shorts did. Or because this is the one short that got executives happy for the new reboot. Personally I think it's the former.

Same. I'd be willing to endure countless uploads of Jojo Siwa and the Loud House in my youtube subscriptions if more of the TMNT shorts were in the same vein as as 'We Strike Hard'.

Maybe they're using youtube as a test audience for the 2018 show and they're hoping by ramming the Team Up vids down our throats we'll acclimatise.

With Summer technically over since school has started I compiled all the shorts in a post on my site to make it easier to archive since it was getting messy with all the ones they released.

With that said looking back at the intro we definitely didn't get all the shorts shown in the preview:


We're missing at least 3 different shorts from there, I wonder why they never showed them. Hell there might be 4 more Team Up shorts they also didn't show.

I dont think any of the shorts besides the French one were bad and I actually like tmnt team up, but Im a bit dissapointed that 80% of the shorts were all Team Up.

I'm surprised no one is interested at the missing shorts, I guess the ones we got really left a bad taste with TMNT Team-up after team-up.

Only two of them seem like they would be bad which is the live action one and anotehr but there is one that looks really cool and one that at least seems to have a really cool style.
