The references to the DW-Gizmoduck rivalry made me remember how sad I am that the old episode "Tiff of the Titans" where Drake Mallard meets Fenton Crackshell wasn't ever released on DVD. Of all the Disney Afternoon shows that I'd want to see finished on DVD, Darkwing would be at the top of my list since the episode order was all over the place both in DVD and original syndication. There are so many "origin" Darkwing episodes that I have very little memories of seeing.

Me being a fan of all these shows had my heart skip a beat seeing all this stuff.

Things I'm hoping for

- A solid build up for Donald and Daisy's relationship, show it in better light. Donald's other spin off show had her look like such a horrible character.

- Would love it if Donald and Goofy had a friendship from the past as a love letter to the classics. They had the most hilarious interactions in the films.

- Darkwing/ Gossylin focoused episode only with Launch pad involved of course but no one else.

The trailer looked amazing, I hope Donald gets that moment to shine, him fighting that moon creep makes me excited : )

I almost didn't recognize Goslyn for a moment because of her slightly browner feathers.

And Daisy. But cool that she'd finally showing up (and will hopefully be less awful than in the 3 Caballeros show)

More info here, looks like there is a form of the wuzzles in an upcoming episode. Also, looks
like we are going to see a grown up version of Kit and Molly. This is all looking great!

Surprised nobody has brought this up. Not that I’ve seen.

https://www.slashgear.com/disney-plu...ries-11580143/

It’s NOT a Rescue Rangers cartoon. It’s just Chip and Dale. Too bad it’s on Disney+. I know people will complain about the art style but I think it looks like fun.

I’m excited to see Goofy. Mickey and Minnie should be possible too. I wonder if he comes from an alternate universe though. The trailer mentioned someone is messing with time and space.

Finally caught up with this show, and man that Darkwing Duck episode was pure perfection!

And season 3 looks nuts! Can't believe they're bringing back Rescue Rangers and Talespin!

I just wish Disney actually cared about their animated series and gave us either a dvd or blu ray's of each of the seasons of this show. Id love to own this cartoon in my collection

It's a good thing they confirmed the 3rd season is premiering this year, because I can't wait to see what they do with the Phantom Blot.

I really enjoyed this season, I think my favorites have been the Time episode and Dream episode out of the batch along with the Darkwing Duck one.

For the season final, I felt it was kind of rushed and was Dissapointed by Donald's moon arc leading to nothing but oh well, hopefully next season makes up for the mess. I am curious why they keep trying to keep Donald out of the stories, is it because of his voice actor?

Few things I liked

- Donald / Della reunion, it was touching to see.

- More Darkwing / Launch pad moments, hoping next season he finally confirms Launch pad as his official sidekick.

- Scrooge trying to use his smarts, love how the moon guy only considered Scrooge a threat.

- I liked the generations comparisons we got in some scenes. I guess Webby is like the Della of this series but as far as the boys go I see Dewey more like her and Huey like Donald but that's me.

- Could Launch pad finally have found love? Bum bum bum.

What I hope for season three

- More Huey development

- More love for Donald. Come on, poor guy puts his life on the line for his family for nothing? Why?

Tress MacNeille could be voicing Daisy Duck but as The Rescue Rangers are in this season, she might voice Chip and Gadget again too.

Corey Burton and Jim Cummings are already in Ducktales, so they could be voicing Dale, Zipper and Monterey Jack again.

Bill Farmer could be voicing Goofy.

They do show quite a few reruns on Disney XD.

It seems they only run new episodes of maybe 2 different cartoons at a time. So when 2 are current the others are in hiatus.

Right now The Owl House is current, which is a good show too. Ducktales and Amphibia are not. Tangled just ended. Not sure about Big City Greens.
