Thanks Al

Well, the logistics of the story are bizarre as hell again, but it should be a fun ride at least

I really like the rendition of the Mirage origin.

Yeah, that's awesome. I love the reverence you can feel for Mirage TMNT in just those few panels. Tempted to pick up this issue.

I'll be the first to come out and say it: this crossover is kinda weak. Two issues in and not much, if anything, has happened.

Why does the "progenitor" Batman wear the Earth One suit? Isn't the Earth Two Batman the original?

Well this is goofy as hell but I'm admittedly enjoying seeing Kevin's gritty Mirage style splashed into Williams'. Fun to see those perspective tweaks on iconic TMNT issue 1 panels too.

Do we know how involved Kevin is? Clearly his pencils, but I wonder if he was asked to help with bits of dialogue.

Yeah, I don't even want to try figuring out who gets to be "Earth Prime" in the history of the DC comics multiverse.

Your mistake was expecting anything more than some nice art to look at

You're not wrong. Gorgeous artwork, "eh" story. But so far it's better than the Donnie vs Bane atrocity, so there's that.

Earth-Prime is our world, our reality. It's where Superboy-Prime is from. Earth-0 has always been "New Earth" (basically, the core, canon Earth) since the original Crisis. Earth-1 (as we currently think of it in post-Crisis times) was created in 2009 at the end of Busiek's "Trinity" series and was first seen in "Superman: Earth One" and isn't much of anything.

Think Doomsday Clock's started to mess with that a bit, with the

I've enjoyed the Batman: Earth One series. Superman: Earth One I've been a little less impressed with, but then, I'm not a huge Superman fan so maybe I'm missing stuff.

I read that issue.
Spoiler:
The only "change" seems to be that Earth-0 -- which comprises the "Metaverse" -- is a little bit fluid, and changes to it (apparently always surrounding Superman) effect the other Earths. Which has always been the case and I'm pretty sure was openly said during "52" and "Countdown," just not specifically about Superman.

You know, as much as it looks very aesthetically pleasing in this book, I'm still tired of the "black and white + looking like the issue 1 turtles means they're from Mirage!" nonsense. It's a super lazy shorthand.
