Got a couple things at the flea market today. First up, a couple of big Jakks WWE Classic Superstars scores, "Genius" Lanny Poffo and Yokozuna! I've been after these two for a while.
Spoiler:

And perhaps an even BIGGER deal, I snagged the Resaurus Mach 5 from their old Speed Racer line! Pretty sure a buddy of mine who works with the flea market passed it along to them so it would in turn come to me. It's used/complete and the box has some wear, but I got it for a steal! Even more so because he apparently threw in a pair of Speed and Racer X figures as well! Not sure if he meant to do that or not, but thanks to that I ended up coming out WAY ahead on this deal!
Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

That thing is so awesome. I was cleaning today and happened to come across my other Mach 5, the one I bought when the movie came out. It looks nice but lacks all of the cool features the one above has. It does make noise, however.
Spoiler:

Now I have even more reason to pick up the rest of the Resaurus Speed Racer line of figures!

It's amazing. I'm gonna talk more about it in the Savage World/Primal Age thread. But it's an easy A and anyone who collects MOTU or Fantasy figures needs it in their collection. Mine was $40. Get yours!!!

Slightly less exciting, but still awesome, Super7 Filmation "Masters of the Universe" Stratos also came today! He looks great!
Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Looks great next to his vintage 80s counterpart, too!

We shot some video for the big guy, too. Today was a good day.

Vulkro Mattel DC Multiverse figure. Its Amazon exclusive but I was able to get it from a third party seller off their site for 9.99 free shipping which was great for price and it came mint! With that I completed the 5 figure set for the Aquaman movie which includes Aquaman, Mera, Black Manta and Orm and those 4 contain the BAF Trench Creature.

I got several action figures for my Birthday. I'll post some of them in their more appropriate/specific threads just to keep those going, but in addition to those my wife picked me up some cool figures I needed: DC Direct "First Appearance" Alan Scott Green Lantern, and Jakks "WWE Classic Superstars" Ultimate Warrior and Bret Hart.
Spoiler:

Warrior is Series 3 and Bret is Series 13.

I got this super cheap because the box was a bit dinged up. I've seen some of these go for over $100. I think I paid $15.

Just today, the RetroPlay He-Man and Skeletor figures! I could not walk out of the store without picking up these babies. My childhood called and I picked up the phone.

That's awesome. I was supposed to go pick up Beast Man and Man-At-Arms at the flea market but our car is on a jack, so they're holding the for me until next week.

Got a great pick-up at the flea market on Sunday... the 2011 "Tower of Omens" from the Bandai "Thundercats" line!

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

I never got to pick up anything from this line when it was fresh. "Thankfully" it didn't last very long, so it's a small series and everything is fairly cheap, still. I got it in a bundle with a few other things, so I probably paid about $20 for it.

Sort of half-assedly making up for the fact that I never had an original Cat's Lair from the 80s line.

My new Disney Toybox Mandalorian arrived in the mail today, and I happened to find one lonely Evil-Lyn at Walmart. I was on the fence about her, and had at one point convinced myself to pass on her. I really hate the color! But oh well, she's the first MotU lady I've had a chance to take home. As for Mando, there was never any question. I do hate the beskar armor compared to his original beat-up look, but on this particular figure, I can't deny he still looks pretty great.

Been slowing down on purchases for myself for a few reasons - I've gotten a ton of what I needed from various lines, my wife's Birthday as well as Christmas is coming up, and also just plain want to keep a certain amount of savings in the bank - but I still try to hit the flea market weekly because they always get new awesome stuff in.

In the spirit of the season, I couldn't pass this one up... NECA "A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors" Freddy Kreuger action figure!
Spoiler:

I especially needed to get this because it's the first "proper" Freddy figure I've ever owned and only the second one overall. The first was the Funko "Savage World" 5.5-scale Freddy from a couple years ago, which is very cool for what it is but I needed a "real" Freddy so this was long overdue.

It was between this one and the first movie version, and it was a very tough decision (price was about the same), but in the end I went with this one because it has the more "iconic" look with the green stripes on the sleeves (in the first movie his sleeves were plain red but they switched it for the rest of the series) and also the chest/torso piece. Plus, the sweater on the first movie figure looked very slightly too large. So considering those minor factors this one narrowly took the edge and I may well pick up the other one if it's still there next week.

They also had Tuxedo Freddy but it was a little more expensive and I didn't want to get a variant Freddy before getting a "regular" one. All things in time!

The only ones the stores get around here are the Batman, Golden Armor Wonder Woman, and occasionally the regular and animated Superman figures.
The others turn up at the flea market sometimes but it'd be nice to pay regular price at Walmart for 'em.

So far I only have the first two Supermans, the first two Batmans, and the regular Wonder Woman. I've only seen those and Harley Quinn in person.

I've picked up a few things over the last few weeks but I kept forgetting to post them. So here's a few now.

First up, Hawkman from the 1990 Toy Biz DC Super-Heroes line! It took me a while to find this one at a reasonable price, and I still paid a little more than I wanted to since many of the others in the line are less, but whatever, one step closer to having the complete set!
Spoiler:

I only need Bob the Goon, Flash with the "Cloud" platform, and a replacement Mr. Freeze (mine has broken guns, like most of the loose ones) and I've have the entire series!

Next up, one of the Mattel Hulk Hogan figures! This one was also a bit up there, since Mattel didn't produce very many and they were all pulled from shelves when Hogan said some not-nice things on the internet a few years ago. But I think I have all of the Mattel Hogan figures, now. Not counting the crappy "Mr. America" create-a-figure because I don't care about that one.
Spoiler:

There's only a few Hogan figures I don't own, now! Specifically, two LJN Hogan figures, a couple of OSFT WCW ones, and like 3-to-5 Jakks ones, and I think one or two Jakks TNA ones. Figure less than a dozen altogether. Not too bad!

The other figures I got recently were all He-Man stuff, so I'll post those in the appropriate thread.

A couple of things came in the mail today. I got a great deal on some cheap figures, as usual. Specifically, some of the WCW figures from Original San Francisco Toymakers, who had the license from 1995 through 1998 before Toy Biz picked it up. Their figures objectively were not fantastic, but they're a fun bit of history and they did get better as they went along. There also aren't that many of them, so I figured I'd start filling in a few holes here and there as the opportunity came up.

First up, one of the few Hogan figures I somehow missed from that line. I really wasn't collecting these all that religiously at the time since as I said, they weren't really stellar, but I always at least try to get every Hogan I come across. I'unno what happened, but anyway, I finally found one at a reasonable price:
Spoiler:

This was from their 6-inch line towards the end. For the first few years they did big rubber figures with no articulation, similar to the old WWF LJN figures from the 80s. Then they did a very short line of figures that had extremely limited articulation, but were more infamous than anything for their bizarre "vibrating" feature. Then they came out with this series, which were a bit smaller, but had a bit more articulation as well as push-button action features. Still not great, but better than what had come before, certainly.

Next up, a set that I completely missed when they were fresh, also from OSFT, the Hollywood Hogan/Scott Steiner two-pack:
Spoiler:

These were in 4-inch scale with limited articulation (but slightly more than the larger figures). I believe all of the characters were released individually, but most if not all of them were also released in these two-packs. Sting and Kevin Nash on single cards were the only ones I had so far from this particular set. They really didn't make very many different characters so it's not a really difficult line to collect.

Wrestling figures have certainly come a long way since 1997. I do look forward to collecting the rest of these, though.

Got this in the mail today... Mattel "DC Universe Classics" Green Lantern!

Prices on these things are ridiculous considering how easy to find they were; I guess demand is just that high. This one wasn't bad, though. The seller even threw in one of those plastic Green Lantern Power Rings as a bonus. Nice.

I might have to settle for trying to buy most of these Loose/Complete. Not altogether bad, as the Mattels hold up very well and aren't very prone to breakage or whatever. I just prefer to get things in-package as much as possible, for one thing because I want to make sure I have full accessories, and for two, because I just plain like opening packages myself.

I also found an okay-priced Silver Age Batman, but that's coming from Canada so it's gonna take a couple weeks.

Picked up some stuff at the flea market on Saturday.

- Original San Francisco Toymakers DDP and Ric Flair from their WCW 1998 line, Galoob Sid Vicious, and Hasbro Big Boss Man:

- LJN WWF Jimmy Snuka and Nikolai Volkoff:

Both these guys needed a bit of touching up, I'm already 99% done with fixing them up. Volkoff didn't need much work but Snuka's outfit was almost entirely rubbed off.

And finally, The Man of the Hour, The Tower of Power, Too Sweet To Be Sour, Daddy... SUPERSTAR Billy Graham from the Jakks WWE Classic Superstars line! I've been after this one for a while:

Got something cool in the mail the other day...

I was pretty broke when this series was coming out, so I missed pretty much the whole thing. Which really pisses me off because they go for ridiculous prices now. I got a good deal on this one because the package is damaged.

This brings my DC Universe Classics collection of action figures up to a whopping Three. Hopefully I'll get a couple for Christmas or something, I'unno.
