Of course. Again, feel free to disagree with some of 'em. But be gentle.

Certainly one of the better Toho Godzilla movies in recent years.

Updated my list on page 1.

2004 isn't that long ago. I mean I know it is, but the early 2000's are still "recent" to most of us.

I'm with Cubed on this one. And you forgot about 2014's Godzilla, unless you meant just the Toho movies.

2004 is a long time from the last Godzilla movie. Final Wars was that, the end of the millennium series. When people say "recent" Godzilla movies I would think of the American 2014 one and the upcoming anime film not Final Wars or any of the millenium series, I mean when the first movie of that series came out the Nintendo 64 was still there and when Final Wars came out the Gamecube chugging along, we wouldn't get the Wii for another 2 years.

Shin Godzilla, the best movie since the original 1954.

I consider King Kong 2005 recent and that's more than a decade old now. Hard to believe I now have to say "King Kong 2005" instead of just "the newest King Kong" because of the new Kong that just came out this year.

Yep, and I've seen plenty of Godzilla movies too. The Japanese know their stuff.

The Hollywood wannabe remake versions are simply pale in comparison.

Exactly. So would I. "Recent" doesn't have to mean just in the last 5 years or so.

It'll be interesting to see how the next Hollywood Godzilla movie and the Godzilla vs Kong movie shape up.

I think anything from 2000 onward is recent. 80's/90's movies generally feel old though, which kinda makes sense as they're 30+ years old now.

It's pretty crazy that Godzilla 2014 and Shin Godzilla were both great. Looking now, it appears Shin Godzilla FINALLY hit blu-ray in the US. Which is nuts, because I watched that in the theater in October. I just stopped typing this and ordered it. I'll try to contribute something different.

Little Rascals. Not only was it respectfully done, it legitimately became a classic for a new generation. How often does that happen?

The Three Stooges. I don't care what people say, they did everything right.

I also liked the three stooges movie, would love to see a well done remake/revamp of the Marx Brothers.

Netflix's Voltron is pretty much the one reboot/remake I can think of off the top of my head that I've seen all the way through.

I've tried to watch the original, but got to a point where it was both too slow and the voice acting was too silly. Though I greatly enjoy the clips of peak silliness. The little girl (clearly voiced by a man) that gets lost in a rush gets me every time . "Don't leeaaaave meeeee"
