I can see it. Stan Lee is from a way old time where men treated women differently. I wouldn't put it past him.

The Always Believe Women movement is just awful and it's going to backfire horribly and hurt women's credibility when this is a real issue.

Stan Lee has done horrible things in the industry and he still has that "nice grandpa" persona that people love, it's something about him since this isn't just the old generations but includes new generations of kids who only know Stan Lee as the guy who created many Marvel heroes and the cameos and yet still love him. So while a horrible person I do think this one is overblown at to what it might actually be.

It's not a coincidence. The woman in question saw Franco at the Golden Globes wearing a pin in support of victims of sexual harassment and assault, and called him out on some alleged hypocrisy.
