You know what..... they did that for Robert Downey Jr in Ironman 3. They could use that technology what with Marvel & Lucasfilm now owned by Disney.

Look at that. Amazing. He's literally a teenager.

They're going to ride till the wheels come off with Ford, and I'm fine with that.

Remember what Spielberg said. There will be NO passing of the torch in Indy 5. When Ford is 100% done I'm sure they'll recast and do more Nazi stuff in the 40s... but not before.

Finding someone who can play a young Harrison Ford would be very difficult, and big shoes to fill, River Phoenix and Sean Patrick Flanery both played Young Indy, but neither of them looked like Harrison Ford.

He doesn't quite look like Harrison Ford, however the actor Anthony Ingruber who many fans wanted for Han Solo, looked very much like a young version of Harrison Ford.

They should get this guy as a young Indiana Jones.

They don't have to cast someone who looks like a young Harrison Ford, they just have to cast someone who fits the role and can act well

I can't believe this movie is supposed to come out next year, I remember it felt so far away. Never been a huge Indiana fan but like the character a lot oddly enough.

The 1st and 3rd movies are really the only good ones.

What's wrong with Temple of Doom?

As I get older I think Temple of Doom is the best one. As a kid I think I only liked it least because it didn't connect much to do 1 and 3. It's easily the most immersive. He's not traveling around the world, he's going to one place and getting immersed in some ****.

Also Temple of Doom actually took place before Raiders of the Lost Ark, so its a prequel to that, and it was the movie that caused the creation of the PG-13 rating, cause there were some scenes that went beyond normal PG.

Yeah, I know. Whenever I rewatch the movies I start with ToD. It flows much better that way anyway, with 1 into 3.

It's been a long while since I've watched them so I guess my thoughts could change upon a re-watch but yeah Temple just didn't do it for me and Crystal never seemed that bad. Raiders is great but I do think Last Crusade beats it.

I've really got to watch Young Indiana Jones, I'll try to before this new movie.

Temple of Doom had some really good action scenes, like the mine cart chase, which was all done with stop motion animation, if this movie was shot today, that whole sequence would've been CGI.

When you look at 1, 2, and 3, the FX don't age very well.

I love all of these movies, including the last, so I'm ready whenever. Even if he's old & tired, relying on stuntmen, I'll enjoy it.

1 was great as a standalone movie with adventure, romance, etc...nice throwback to 50's era adventure movies which I imagine what it was aiming for. The last one of course has Sean Connery and the dynamic between him and Ford is great.

The second one is where things get too campy with gross out humor and some racist overtones. I enjoy it for what it is, but it's not great. Also it has the worst female lead, she spent the entire movie screaming and complaining about everything.

The Temple of Doom was screwed over by The Last Crusade in a lot of ways. You go from 'Fortune and glory' to 'It belongs in a museum'. I think the idea at the time was to make Indiana Jones like James Bond - a series of self contained adventures that could go on forever. They changed their mind with the third one and made it more of a bookend, which makes Temple of Doom feel out of place. I like it fine though - I never watch them back to back so the change in tone doesn't really bother me.

I don't think they could do it for a whole movie - it would be too distracting, and super expensive. Plus RDJ barely moves in that scene.

Same here.
When I was watching decade ago, I found it incredibly boring and slow, but when i was rewatching it recently I've found it to be as fun and interesting as the first movie.

Yeah, it's darker and more somber than the other IJ movies, but it gives it a certain charm.

'Cubed has become "SJW"?

The movie as a whole tribute to the pulp novels of old. Some "outdateness" comes with a package. Nothing too big really. Though, "keyboard-warriors" will probably choke on their spit, watching it.
