Sorry, but I disagree about the whole Splinter/April thing. She's sixteen, and he has to be in his forties. Ugh. No, just no. But if it did happen, I can so see Kirby wanting to kill Splinter for violating his sweet daughter.

I'm beginning to wonder if April has mutagen in her bloodstream (In it's perfected form that the Kraang have been trying to develop on Earth). And they want to extract the mutagen from her with whatever that gizmo was in the finale trailer.

That could explain why she has her unique abilities.

I really enjoyed this episode thanks to the subtle action on Donatello trying to find the Kraang and using the Neutralizer to take advantage of them, and then finally rescuing Kirby to complete an objective that took the entire season to accomplish. Its both rewarding and menacing at the same time when Shredder at the end tells the Kraang leader about their ultimate attack approaching. Michelangelo had some really cool lines, especially involving the coupe in the warehouse when he knocked out the baddies. Good fourth wall joke about Donnie saying about making a Raphael impression. Excited for the finale.

Overall: 8.5/10

Season Two Description:
Season two starts off with a bang when the Turtles accidentally drop a Kraang shipment of mutagen canisters all over NYC. When he discovers his city is being infiltrated by mutants and aliens, he does what any normal teenager would do – outfits himself with a mask, homemade weapons and takes to the streets as a vigilante.

This makes me think that they are not going to find out what's up with April in the finale...

This is a good theory too!

I loved this episode. So many excellent moments! Poor Donnie getting his heart "squished" by Raph...and then Raph trying to redeem himself at the end without openly appologizing. That was just classic Raphael right there. Mikey's dream was hilarious....as was the moment with the lockpick. Excellent set up for the finale...I cannot wait!!!

Best IGN Review yet. Agreed on everything! I have a feeling the finale might actually be the first Turtles related 'thing' to ever get a 10 from IGN.

Evrything is going according to my plan! I let the turtles to resuce Kirby and at the same time some of my foot ninjas and kraang were following them to their lair but they did not notice them. Now i know where the lair is and i will destroy it !! HAAHAHAAH!!!

Getting too excited for the Season Finale! Kirby can't be doing these things willingly....it would make for a great twist though.

The Newtralizer is one bad dude. He ate a Krang!!! I hope he'll become the turtles ally;maybe Mikey should offer him a candy bar.

Kirby got me soo mad, I was like "Guy, he JUST told you NOT to tell Mikey!! Gaah!!!" (hate blabbermouths) Good thing Donny didn't reveal his feelings about April to him. He so would have told her 10 seconds after he'd seen her, "April, that turtle Donatello has a big crush on you."

When did Shedder become allies with the Krang?

Gotta rewatch old episode cuz I missed that.

I was just ruminating about that last night but figured if I posted about it I'd get told I have no life. My excuse is that I was incredibly bored at the time.

Can't see her sleeping in the same area as the turtles - even though she presumably couldn't get pregnant anyway, Splinter seems like the type to think teenage boys and teenage girls should probably sleep separately.

She might possibly sleep somewhere in Splinter's area so he can keep an eye on the goods himself - he's beyond reproach, and can definitely control himself. But I don't think he'd be so worried about it (the turtles are good kids) that he'd give up his quiet and privacy.

So yeah, I think she has her own area somewhere, although I can't figure out where. Hopefully she's not just crashing on that old subway station seating - looks uncomfortable.

(The treadmill is really boring, okay?)
