I don't understand you guys who "can't get into" Jessica Jones. Honestly, I haven't heard a single female viewer say that yet. Just dudes.

Agreed. Can't say I understand it either.

The comic book store dudes that I shoot the **** with every Wednesday didn't like it either and almost threw me out when I said it was better than DD, on the whole lol. They said they only liked the episodes with Luke Cage.

What is this even supposed to mean? I don't get it.

"Only guys don't like it, so you're all wrong!"

Oh, look who showed up! This should be fun!

First, my dear little inoculation, at no time did I ever say anyone was wrong. I did not even imply that anyone was wrong. Merely that I am baffled by those who dislike it.

Second, it is a fact that in my discussions with people who have seen JJ, every female viewer has enjoyed it and had an overall positive opinion. Only male viewers, in my experience, have overall disliked it or been bored by it.

Did I call anyone sexist? Nope. But it is an interesting correlation, and I'd be fascinated to know the comparative numbers.

Damn, man, what's up with the hostility? I asked because like I said, I was confused. That's how it came off, so I wanted clarity.

My honest apology, Cure. I thought you were being a d!ck, so I retaliated. My honest and sincere apology.

It's fine. It just seems like a weird way of validating something.

Yeah. Again, I'm sorry. I misunderstood your "tone of voice."

I would like to see some numbers on male viewers versus female viewers, and see if that relates to anything.

Perhaps a number of guys can't relate to Jessica as a trauma/abuse victim? Or there wasn't enough action ala Daredevil, Arrow, and Flash? Because it certainly wasn't "boring", although "slow" could be an accurate criticism...

That was my problem with it. It was super slow. I felt bad for her, sure, but I just wasn't entertained. Or intrigued.

And the few fight scenes there was were so baaaaaad.

I loved Jessica Jones, but think it still pales in comparison to the comic.

Damn straight. At least I don't try to hide it.

That smile looks nervous to me, Cubed. Like she knows you're watching her.

Her nervousness and skittishness makes it even better. She's a loveable dork like Peter Parker only she's girly and fun. Everyone loves nerdy superheroes who don't know what they're doing and trip over themselves.

Supergirl (especially in the CBS show), is basically Peter Parker for girls. She's dorky and funny for the same reason Peter Parker is.

So... does Melissa already have a restraining order against you, or is it still getting processed through the court?
