Frank Miller's Ronin: Book Two

Has anyone been checking this out? I've got the first 5 issues on the way. I was, of course, a HUGE fan of the original book -- and I still insist that ought to be a movie, or a Netflix mini, or something.

I’ve been reading it.

Spoiler:
So Casey and the Ronin/Billy had a child, huh? At their son has all his limbs

I need to find my Ronin TPB... I know it's around here somewhere but I haven't seen it in ages.'

Are all of these Book Twos just in B&W?

Read the first 5 issues. What. The. F***. Is this? This whole thing is barely even a story. Every page is lazily a double splash page and there isn't any backgrounds in any panels or pages. It's like a incoherent fever dream. This is nothing like the original Ronin volume and this might qualify as like a weird epilogue to it, if that. Supremely disappointing.

So it’s the equivalent of DKSA?

I didn’t even realize this book was out until I saw this thread but the pencils sure do look great if nothing else.

Exactly the same here - Loved the original, have the mini and the Absolute edition. I've been ordering this series too but I haven't read them yet.

But yeah - during that "Frank Miller to film" period that looked like was ramping up some time back I've always been surprised that the original book didn't get a movie.

Now I could see it being a great Netflix mini-series.
