The Purge: Anarchy

I loved the movie to death, got to see it in a huge theater with my girlfriend, i don't think I've ever had such an adrenaline rush from a movie in a long time!

As a mother of a young child who likes to watch the same show over and over, trust me, it's not overrated. I don't mind watching it fairly often, unlike many of my son's other choices...

But I agree that it has been built up so much by almost everyone, that you might feel underwhelmed when watching it.

Lucy. The screenwriter was only using 10% of their brain.

I just saw Dawn of the Planet of the Apes this past weekend and I enjoyed the hell out of it. One of the few franchise reboots to me that has done everything amazing.

I re-watched Kung-Fu Panda

I really love the version of the Song 'Kung-Fu fighting' by Sam Concepcion

Just saw Dawn of the Planet of the Apes too, wasn't honestly looking forward to it as I found the last one a bit long winded but I was really pleasantly surprised. It had everything, it was thought provoking, well scripted/acted and the CGI was just gorgeous.

Last movie I seen in Theaters was "How To Train Your Dragon 2", which I enjoyed. I'm going to see "Guardians of The Galaxy" tomorrow.

I saw Deliver Us From Evil last night, and I am one of those people who screams out loud in the cinema (actually, with me it's more of an alarmed squawking sound) - got some good scares, though the third act was a little weak.

Also watched Assault on Arkham, which freaking ROCKED.

Yeah, my little boy does that too.

But yeah, it's still overrated.

Caught the last half hour of Superman Returns on ABC Family. There's more "Superman-ness" in that last chunk than there is in all of "Man of Steel". I like both movies a lot, but that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Currently watching "Young Guns", aka "The Greatest Movie In The History Of The Universe". I needed a boost today. A lot of movies could learn a lot from this one about how to juggle multiple characters and tell an engaging story.

Absolutely amazing cast of wall-to-wall legends. And Dermot Mulroney, because sure.

It's also insanely quotable and I steal lines from it allll the time. People think you're super clever and smart when they don't know all your quips come from the mouth of Emilio Estevez.

Gaurdians Of The Galaxy! Along with DOFP my favorite Marvel movie of the year. F***ing fantastic. My only problem was the pacing of the comedy. Serious beginning with a pretty light middle and then a kind of serious ending. All in all wonderful. 8.5 out of 10

Guardians of the Galaxy. I really enjoyed it.

And it was the second time I've witnessed the theater applaud the movie.
