Randy dropped a hint about the SDCC exclusives, saying they're something different based around the summer of 1990, and that they're going to be at Target.

Coming out of the shells would be a lackluster exclusive.

I?m not buying that they will be easier to get because they?re at Target. But also I?ve had some good luck with the past SDCC online pre-orders.

That?s a good question. Do you think they will be all new sculpts or do you think they will just be the toon figs with newclothing and accessories?

I think it's safe to say it will not be new sculpts. Just some music accessories and maybe some changes to the belts.

Hell, I'm all in for Coming Out of Their Shells Turtles.

I recently found the album on tape at a Toy Fair and I own the 7" vinyl of Pizza Power/Tubin' that dropped for Record Store Day last year .. so I'm game.

All in. I was 10 when this came out at Pizza Hut and bled green. It was kind of a lame promotion but I did not care. I played the hell out of that tape and those songs still represent such innocence. I do not care if they are new sculpts or reused ones. I will definitely be owning this and sounds like I will have an easier time buying it since so many other fans (possibly younger fans who missed the peak) could care less. Better for me.

I lived through the peak and loved it, but alas, I did not love Out of Their Shells. A few of the songs are OK (kind of sounds like old Cinderella), but I do not need figures of these.

They'll probably use the Henson bodies and sculpt some clothes and new heads for them. That's my guess, anyway.

As far as I'm concerned, OOTS is the absolute nadir of the TMNT franchise, worse than Next Mutation, the Bay films and the recent cartoon combined.

Worse than the NM? That?s bold. NM imo is the hardest to swallow of the listed.
