I was REALLY tempted to vote Lonely Mutation just for the Beetlejuice reference at the end...but Wormquake was just all-around better made. (Wasn't that one even nominated for an Emmy?)

Another toughie here. I love both of these episodes. With baxter stockman we get to see him mutate into a fly and made a future reference we will see about a warthog and rhino. Donnie creating retro mutagen to cure kirby...sadly that was only short lived. With everything happened this one it just couldn't overtake wormquake(aka the manhattan project). I loved everything that went down in the episode, but i had to vote for it mainly of two reasons. The first being the amazing entrance of a sick villain tiger claw, and the second being we got a cameo not once but TWICE of the 80s turtles. The ending of the episode is absolutely the best ending to any episode of the this series thus far. Baxter should give this one a tough fight, but in the end it will go down in defeat.

The Manhattan Project of course. For the first time since The Gauntlet, the turtles finally faced a single formidable enemy that they cannot take down on their own, or even escape from it. That they had to call Splinter's cheese phone for the first time and even "The Great Splinter", as Fishface called him, got captured and brought to Shredder, and needed the turtles to save him in return.

The Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman was a great episode by itself, as I voted it in the previous round. But it cannot even hold a candle to The Manhattan Project in terms of the story intensity and seriousness of the situation. When April was kidnapped by Baxter, the turtles called Casey for help. Casey, as compared to Splinter, go figure

Manhattan Project for me, the whole episode was great.
I must one of the few who didn't like TLMoBS: Mikey's "buzzbuzz" stuff irritates me to no end, he and Raph don't get anything interesting to do, the fact that a mere drop is enough to cure Kirby when Donnie made a big deal about having only 2 doses at the beginning of the episode...It was a bit disappointing.
