Doom: The Dark Ages
So this is a prequel to Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal. |

This definitely has my attention.
Since Doom 2016 is a sequel to Doom, Doom II, Final Doom, and Doom 64, this is a prequel to everything.

I thought Doom 2016 was a reboot so Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal were in a separate universe from the first two Doom games and Doom 64. I see mixed views online about it some people saying Doom 2016 being a reboot and others saying it was a sequel.

It's definitely intended as a sequel and the end of Doom 64 leads right into Doom 2016. The only odd duck is Doom 3, which is the only standalone reboot thing in Doom ever.
