Marvel VS Capcom Collection

Capcom finally brought the goods. They're announcing 'sometime in 2024' a huge collection that includes X-Men Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men VS SF, Marvel VS SF, Marvel VS Capcom, and Marvel VS Capcom 2. To top it off, they're also adding the Punisher 2-player arcade game since it was the first time that Capcom made a game using Marvel characters.

Naw, just the classic 2D sprite games.

I mean you can download Ultimate MVC3 on the PSN (XBox too I'm sure) and can still buy Infinite. That would be charging you for the same game on the same console twice and would probably double the price of the set.

I think it's a fair divide between the 2D and 3D stuff. Plus, I expect the file sizes on the most recent MvC games would be WAY larger than the previous games in the series combined. Regardless, retro compilation file sizes always tend to balloon due to all the bells n' whistles or whatever.

None of those are 3D fighting games. There is only the illusion of 3D.

Aren't they fully 3D models with gameplay limited to only x/y axis?

You could say that of SF4-SF6, too. Those still aren't 3D fighting games.

Ok, wise guy, here's my edit:

Better?

I like the way you think! Wish Sega x Marvel could work out a deal to re-release their Spider-man games too.
