I would be cool with tablets and smartphones destroying the PC market further. PC eltists and their Valve overlords have become one of the most obnoxiously righteous assholes in the history of games over the last two years and the quicker they die the happier I'll be.

I know, my friend, and I understand your feelings about it. But really, I can't even imagine Windows being around much longer for both gamers and businesses. They are going for the casual market (tablets, phones, etc.) and it makes me so sad, both as an individual and as a professional.

Crash Bandicoot Faces Bleak Future, World Bereaved of Beloved Mascot
The official Crash Bandicoot website was taken down recently, plus any link to Crash/related material were removed from Activision's main webpage. Fans speculated Sony got him back due to an image in a Ps4 promo vid, but they said they did not own Crash and Activision still has him. The last Crash game was in 2008, and several Crash title have been cancelled since, like all those lost Mega Man efforts. May the bandicoot rest in peace, I guess?

So, Amazon bought Double Helix and a lot of people thinks this lends more credibility to the rumor that Amazon is getting ready to launch a for realz game console this year. Thoughts?
Personally, I've always wanted to go back to the mid-90's wild west of game consoles, because now I'm an adult and can totally buy all the awful sh*t that can potentially be released and that excites me! |

So, this thing turned out to be yet another Android-based streaming box that has games as a "bonus" and is sold seperately from the $40 controller.
Trash. I'm sure Double Helix is stoked to go from making real games on real hardware to .99 cent time wasters on a device without an audience. |
