Some gaming communities, really really got their panties into twist about loot boxes.

While they are saying that it is, because, it is supposedly "horrible practice" and "prays on poor people who can suffer from an addiction", I suspect that it is because they just didn't get stuff from them that they wanted.

Personally I prefer loot boxes (as long as they contain cosmetic items) instead of countless DLCs.

I mean thats still going to hurt said companies's wallets and if more countries are going to follow suit then they are going to have to rework lootboxes. Hell Hawaii consider's them to be "predatory behavior" so there might be a chance that some states in the U.S might follow suit.

I mean thats a valid criticism, you have no idea what you are going to get with a Lootbox so there is going to be a good chance some people are pretty much wasting money on things they don't want just because they were unlucky. At least with a DLC you know what you are getting.

I thought of getting Ultra Street Fighter II, and even contemplated buying the Genesis versions of Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition and Super Street Fighter II from the Virtual Console, but I think I'll wait this one out instead.

I'm surprised no one is making a big deal that Street Fighter 1 is included, AFAIK that has never been re-released since it came out and the few ports it got back then. It was always ignored in any compilations.

The only thing that sucks is that having the arcade versions means we won't get the definitive versions of Alpha 3 for example but it's still cool they have all the main arcade versions here, really didn't expect it. These types of compilations ended in the PS2 era with publishers preferring to sell you the individual games in online shops.

Don't know if I should get it for Switch or PC.

For the first time in the E3 history, Sony will skip the biggest video gaming expo. A lot of people suspect that it's somehow related to the upcoming announce of PlayStation 5.

A movie about the commercials SEGA made so they could pretend to the public that they were actaully in Nintendo's league? Sure sounds fantastic.

Seriously, Nintendo sold about 50 million Snes units while the Mega Drive got about 30 million and most of those were in the US. When SEGA made consoles they sold roughly 15 million on average, while Nintendo sold 47 million units on average during the same era.
