The statues were to make up for the fact that there were only two save slots (I'm not complaining though; those statues were a lifesaver for me!)

And wouldn't it be nice if a videogame company would actually create new videogames?
Don't get me wrong, I bought WiiU BECAUSE it came with Windwaker and I hadn't played the game before, but re-releasing 15 year old games over and over again is a bit ridiculus. And they are selling it at the price of a brand new latest gen AAA game.
No matter how great a game is or how many good memories it brings, selling Pokemon Snap (just to name a game) at a retailer price of 42$ for Nintendo 3DS instead of putting it on the eShop for 20$ is a steal and so is this title.

I have both OoT and WW and they are great games, but the last time they did a new Zelda game was Skyward Sword and Between worlds was a remake with extras. This one looks simply like a remake. Come on Nintendo, do your homework.

MM is definitely not my favorite Zelda. In fact, I didnt really like it on my first playthrough. But I'm looking forward to getting to play it again all pretty and portably. I work a lot so portable games are about the most I get to play.

To be honest, I see nothing wrong with re-releasing an older game, especially if it's an anniversary for said game. In the case of Majora's Mask, to my knowledge, it's never had a remake since the original nearly 15 years ago.

That aside, they are supposed to put out a proper Zelda game for the WiiU, just not sure when.

The N64 Zelda's were the best 3D Zelda games. I really liked Wind Waker too, but there was just something about Ocarina and Majora that felt like the "holy duo" to me.

Twilight Princess felt like it was trying too hard to recapture the magic of Ocarina and it didn't quite get there.

I know a lot of people found the save system on this frustrating, but I loved it. People asked for this and now they are moaning "I want a new title". We just got ALBW, and that was great, and we will get more. At the end of the day, No other company is making games like Nintendo, and even Nintendo don't make many of these style games any more. The market change and the aim is COD cr*p now, or some other third person genric sh~t.

MM in the palm of your hands guys, it can't get better than that!!

I wish they would re-make Link's Awakening in that style. That's my fav.

I'm a big fan of the remakes. I'm DYING for a Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles revamp with 3DS use. That was the most fun playing multiplayer on a console I ever had.

What I'm trying to say is that, beeing Zelda one great saga with fantastic games, selling remakes at retailer price of 40-43€ doesn't feel right to me.
You want to celebrate de 15th anniversary of a great title? Well, you have your virtual console and your eShop, so you can put it there at a fair price and we'd pay for it. This would cost you not much and you can focus on you new Zelda game for Wii U.
WW, OoT and now MM are all remakes that could be put on digital download format and give us new titles instead

I have to admit here my girlfriend owns it and I was planing to play it but I never have. She didn't mention other so I assumed it was the same game with only some different dungeons and the streetpass feature.

I remember playing Majora's Mask right after I finished Ocarina as a kid and absolutely HATING it! Besides, that was one of the first games that scared the living sh!t out of me. As I grew older, I started to respect it more and more for just how cruel and depressing it really was.

It wasn't until recently when I finished the entire game and found it to be the most unique gaming experience I've ever had!

Why would you hate it as a kid? The gameplay was practically identical to OOT aside from the time mechanic.

I was always baffled when I read posts on IGN back in 2001 of people not liking Majora. Guess its the "Zelda cycle" whenever a Zelda game is new its hated, then it becomes old and its loved. Same thing happened with Wind Waker.

I hated having a timer in any game. It stressed me out in MM. Was not a fan.

I always thought WW was great. People just judged it really hard because it was cartoony. Jokes on them because it had the most brutal of Ganon fights.

It was just daunting as a kid. It's like, you have 3 days to beat the game. GO! Oh btw there is this GIANT DEMONIC MOON LOOKING STRAIGHT THROUGH YOUR SOUL AT ALL TIMES....no biggie!

Now it's f#cking awesome but back then it was just devastating. Especially since I didn't have any guides or help. Hell, if I knew you could just save the game at anytime later on when you get the ocarina back, I'd have probably loved it back then as well.

You do realize you can slow down time in the game, right? The timer of Majora never mattered because they gave you plenty of time to do everything.

Likewise anyone who is stupid enough to enter a dungeon on the third day deserves to run out of time.
