Lol true, I went back to day 1 so I could collect all the dungeon fairies. I honestly can't understand anyone saying they liked Ocarina, but hated Majora`s

I literally just said I didn't get to have the ocarina back by the time I gave up. I just assumed that was the whole point of the game and it was too confusing for me to handle.

After you get the ocarina, the game becomes a breeze!

You want to celebrate de 15th anniversary of a great title? Well, you have your virtual console and your eShop, so you can put it there at a fair price and we'd pay for it. This would cost you not much and you can focus on you new Zelda game for Wii U.
WW, OoT and now MM are all remakes that could be put on digital download format and give us new titles instead.
I think you're confused. None of those remakes, one of which was actually an HD remaster, took away from the development time of a new Zelda game. They're all side projects. Skyward sword will only be 3 years old as of this month. Also, the more time taken for a Zelda game the better. It seems like you want a sh*t out annual franchise from the mainline series and that sounds awful.

Its actually amazing when you realize Majora's Mask came out only 2 years after Ocarina of Time.

Man, to think it took Nintendo only a 2 year development cycle to produce one of the best Zelda games of all time. Obvious since the graphics, character models and gameplay was already there, all they had to make was new areas and dungeons.

Some of the graphics/ models were better in MM, heck even Link himself looked better.

Certainly, but that doesn't mean a lot of the heavy lifting in MM's development wasn't already done thanks to OoT. That OoT base is why Majora's Mask feels so much more dense than OoT in a lot of ways, despite the shorter dev time and a smaller team. I actually recall Miyamoto or someone else saying, aside from the leads of OoT, the MM team was comprised mostly of fresh college grads.

Its hard to believe Majora's Mask only has 4 dungeons, yet it takes the same time to complete as OOT simply because of all the sidequests.

It's also hard to believe how half of those dungeons are the absolute worst in the entire series and the other half the greatest...

Its also the only Zelda game where Zelda herself doesn't even appear, you only see her in a brief glimpse of an OOT flashback and that's it.

Nintendo needs to make more games without Ganondorf or Zelda. Its refreshing.

I think Cubed was immaculately conceived by the Internet. Everything he says is parroted by Internet autistics at large.

I know the GBC/GBA gave me the opportunity to play a few NES/SNES classics that I didn't have the opportunity to play back when I was a kid.

Uh, what? I've beaten Majora's Mask like 20 times on the N64, and this remake has me VERY excited.

Most people are usually thrilled when their favorite games get remakes. Especially when the remakes polish the graphics and fix some issues (like framerate) the original game suffers from.

This isn't like the GBA ports of the 2D Mario games, this is a much more polished port/remake without changing too much of the original.

Well, I guess I'm on the minority, then.

I saw someone at Best Buy playing Hyrule Warriors and I told him about MM coming to the 3DS. When we talked about the possibility of updating the graphics, he said that there's something nostalgic about playing the games with the graphics the way they usually were. I can understand that. I can download games I already own for the NES, SNES, and N64 from the eShop to the Wii U since the picture would be better with an HDMI cable hook-up. Even still, playing my older games on the consoles for which they were originally made makes the nostalgia factor better.

It still wouldn't hurt for them to smooth out the characters for Majora's Mask 3D though. After all, they went out of their way to do it for Ocarina of Time 3D.

Also, Nintendo is saying that MM-3D isn't just another remake.

Might be a bit early to be asking this...but for those who've gotten & started playing this, how does it compare to the original? Has the difficulty been dumbed down at all?

I understand what you're saying.

The updated graphics don't appeal to me that much either. What is appealing is the ability to play this game on a hand held.
