I did not realize that he was ill since he was semi active and nothing had been said publicly about his health. Fifty seasons, a solid number to finish. He was not seen and millions are unaware of the impact he had on them. Rest well, Caroll and thank you.

Aw, RIP Mr. Spinney. Knowing how much his work was the part of so many people's childhoods and this nice thing written up by the company...okay, that one risks making you choke up a little.
