Halloween Costumes aren't always movie accurate, you gotta take that with a grain of salt. Besides, usually the mask has to be made to fit the head of any human being. So I though that is the final design.

That does make sense, although turtles don't do so well without sunlight.

Not trying to judge but . Look at the photo closely, the textures run off the edges and the pose looks just like the one they used for at older Michelangelo custom with this hubbub thrown on top. The mask looks nothing like the rest, costumes aren't prefect but they're better then this

It's a cheap Halloween costume, they always look terrible. Seriously, even simple costumes like Superman look bad. All this tells us is that the figure descriptions were legit and the TMNT are going to have unique looks/wear some clothing.

Honestly, I can live with the clothing, it's the nostrils I hate, but like others have said that could just be a health and safety thing (it's kinda important kids can breath wearing the costume after all). I'll reserve judgement for the trailer which should hopefully be soon.

Human face and head shape, as expected. Necklace and sunglasses suit Mikey just fine. He's got a friggin' turtle tattoo. Shoes, though?

So much personality. I can't wait to see how the other turtles turned out.

This is true. With UK Toyfair now and NY Toyfair in a few weeks they had to know something like this would probably slip out, they've been so secretive for so long (worrying really, most major films have a teaser a year or more before release) an official image should have been released before UK Toyfair (before Christmas really) to both start the publicity build up and make sure Paramount got to do the reveal rather than a merchandise leak.

Yah, that's pretty much the deal with this, I think. Hopefully this leak will prompt Paramount to release something official very very soon.

2. it makes no sense why they would leak images of a halloween costume before the toys. movie toys are almost always the first images leaked.

now looking at it , it does looked photoshopped, but it contains everything the people who have told us what he's wearing, the pants with the orange trim and the shoes open toed at the bottom the stupid sweater wrapped around the waist, the necklace and shades, but damn I pray its just a photoshop or someone who is trolling the forums.

Just that it fits all descriptions, and would be a generally stupid thing to make up. The hoodie on the waist, orange lines on the pants, the shoe, and shell necklace have each been reported.
