Fox Sports and Fox News were never on the table, even a year ago. The existing owners of Fox are going to start "New Fox" or something, after the sale is completed.

He's suing now based on what was released in recent SEC filings related to the acquisition.

This move is fairly common in M&A deals involving publicly traded companies. There's always someone unhappy about it.

Not quite. It still needs approval by some international regulatory bodies. Getting the DOJ approval last month was the biggest hurdle.
