Their SDCC exclusives were exceedingly lazy this year, just a bunch of repacks/repaints. Even that Shredder, while it's a bit of an early access, is definitely nothing special as an exclusive.

If they really did skip out this year on showing anything then I think we get the message.
As far as I know of Playmates dont attend SDCC. Only Toyfair
I was sutprised how quiet Super7 is

i just did a search on YouTube and it looks like the last SDCC Playmates attended was 2015

evenif they were there im noticing a huge step back in Playmates with TMNT. now that other companies are making figures now i really wonder what happened. did Nickelodeon do something? or did they just realize how much they were angering the collector community?

To me it means that Rise is not so successful with old fans

Amazon has listings Bug Bustin' Donatello, Hypno-Potamus, and Big Mama. They're listed with pictures of Battle She Shell Turtles and multiple sellers have them listed for sale so something weird is going on. The Albearto listing also changed to a listing for Battle Shell Mikey for some reason.

Huh. That's... weird. Those weren't actually made by Playmates, originally. They were a third party product from Hong Kong under the brand name "Bulkyz", I guess Viacom took action & now they're being produced legitimately, through Playmates? That's unprecedented.

Certainly interesting. I never cared much for the Bulkyz look.

The bug busters are coming.
I just got the bug buster vehicles with Donatello.
Very similar to the quad flyer from a couple of years back.

I see this as a sign of the bug buster range hitting shelves around October.

Thanks for the info!

Not sure since it’s been so long, has there been any pics previously released of the vehicles?

Is Bullhop in the works? Did anyone else get an email that Pizza Points is ending? Really not looking great for this series but I am addicted to these dumb figures!

I got it as well, didn't share though since I didn't think anyone really cared.
And things aren't looking good for this line.
I was just at one of my local targets and all of the tmnt stuff was on clearance and gone.

Can’t anyone share the entirety of the email? I didn’t receive it and I have a nice little collection of points. I was hoping they’d add some more stuff eventually for us to use them on.

I didn't get an email because I just became a member a couple weeks ago, but you have until 9/30/19 to redeem any points. My daughter and I are hoping to get to 100 before then, but if we can't, we're just going to get Muckman. Right now we're at 34 points!

I do hope there's more figures in the line coming up, though. I'd love to see what they're going to do.

Hmm... The Bulkyz series was made by a company called BigboystoysHK.
It's going for the vinyl designer trent with cut joints for slightly more dynamic poses. Not a third party company at all as they were licensed.
I guess this might be a partnership with Playmates to scale down the Bulkyz figures and import it to North America.

Really sad to see how this line is doing, because it really never even got started. Two waves last year, one of which is still MIA from many venues that should have had it, and then... nothing and we're already over halfway through the year.

I am not surprised that the Pizza Point site is being shut down. I haven't been able to long into the site for about the last 2 months. The company running the Pizza Points site (it isn't Playmates) has been terrible from the first day it was opened for orders. I am assuming Playmates is tired of dealing with that company.

I've never seen Albearto or the Foot Lieutenant in any store (I'm in multiple Target and Walmart stores weekly). I don't like the show, but I do collect the figures along with my 6 year old son.

The shelves are always full of series 1 figures (I don't think they sell well at all). I randomly saw the Battle Shell turtles at Walmart a while back but I don't see them anymore (and I didn't pick them up when I did see them).

I collect 1 of every figure (but skip over the various turtle variants). My son has the 4 turtles and all of the villains from Series 1. He didn't want April and Splinter (he doesn't like either of those characters from the show). Its sad when a 6 year old can look at that Splinter and say "That's not Splinter...Splinter isn't lazy!" He does like the various villains so far.

I stopped by a Meier tonight and to my shock, I found Albearto and Foot Lt.!!! They had 2 of each, along with the battle shells. I grabbed a Albearto and Foot Lt....don't care for the Battle Shells since I just want to have one each of the characters from the show.

That's awesome. I can't wait to get the Foot Lt. myself. Albearto, I'm not sold on yet.
