When you look back at something and wonder what you were thinking. I took my children to a fun fair yesterday and looked over at the Waltzers (not sure what you call them in the US, a ride with seats that swivel and spin very fast) I had a memory of when I had gone on holiday with my friend years ago, we were out drinking at the nightclub on the resort and I just thought, why? why when you have a light hangover the next morning would you go on those!

Even I don't know what they're called. I just call them "Nope!"

And yeah, why would you do that ?

No idea I was up for breakfast anyway (only lightly groggy at the time) and thought 'sure I'll go on some rides, the others were fine, just that one, they make people dizzy on a good day.

I can't go on things that spin anymore, even lightly, not sure if that's a normal progression as we get older. Bigger rides at theme parks aren't as bad (spin less), which is good because with my children being at the point that they have outgrown the baby rides I'm going to have to go on with them next time we go to one.

Ohh yes, those things. Don't recall a particular name, there might be various names for them here. Yeah, that would not be good if your head isn't up for it.

I like them okay, though I prefer their cousin the Tilt-a-Whirl. Although in the case of the Waltzers, or whatever we call them, I'm likely to watch and try to pick one that doesn't seem to spin as fast or as much as others...

Teacups?
The kind of happy-go-pukey ride that you can control its relative spinning with a wheel in the center of the car thing?

I LOVE the tilt-a-whirl!

The operators usually come and spin the ones that aren't moving as much....well not sure if they still do that.

Teacups crossed my mind too, but these Waltzers things are not controllable. (Minus probably just trying to shift your weight.)

Turns out I did get too much fabric for my last Utrom plush.

But I did say it was MY last Utrom plush so...hit me up if you want one, I could make it pretty quick.

Also, I have multiple ideas for a college project... >;'

I just had this idea and thought I'd post it before I forgot it.

I so, so want to see a video of Beebop and Rocksteady dubbed over with the voices of Macho Man Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan.

Reality TV show idea:

Put two internet users who despise each other into the same room, without telling them who they are or why they are there, and see if they can get along.

first two contestants, plastron and sumac.

Footprints...

Today someone noticed there was a short trail of faint (but obvious enough at the right angles) dirty foot prints at my store. Now, these tile floors have been swept a lot lately, esp with a wide dry mop, would we not have removed them recently if they were old?

It looks like they came from the stock room, probably hitting carpet before touching tile, and presumably stepping back onto carpeting since they disappear. Probably moving moderately fast since it didn't look like the heel was present.

Just so weird. Maybe something was left open one night and somebody got in...but why the hell were you bare foot??

ALSO... the haunted vacuum. Maybe it was just an electrical glitch (with the button in the off position?), but it went on by itself twice a couple days ago, weirding everyone out. o.O Since it was free and still has some life in it (and my mom's vacuum is pretty old) I brought the "haunted" one home today...

My favorite thing in all of Disney history is how they thought Pocahontas was going to beat out The Lion King in the box office.

I can't imagine the embarrassment...there are so many instances of "what in the world were you thinking?" in that mindset.

The soundtrack alone guys. Just the soundtrack!

lol I'm sure it'll probably behave. At best I just wonder if the switch wasn't 100% off and manged to trip back on.

Although... I could have sworn that the volume of it was of the carpet setting variety, not the quieter floor setting, which (carpet) is the second setting that needs the switch to be all the way down, sooo... Who knows.

If it's a ghost that wants to help vacuum, I really don't mind. The bare footprints discovered today disturb me more. lol

I WAS recently disturbed by a box of jumbled up pizza randomly in a very strange place I would not expect it to be in, but I finally learned today that the store manager had been carrying it and tripped. Although why he was in that area and it was tossed back in the box and left there in that spot, I dunno. Best I can guess is maybe he was carrying it, with a few other boxes, up the back steps nearby. (But never went back to throw it out??) But when I came across it I really had envisioned a homeless person quietly living in the store and having stolen it from the fridge... lol Glad that wasn't the case.
