I for sure plan on opening one of each. I do not own any original art so I am really excited to get these and frame them up. I was debating ordering a Jim Lawson commission, but this will keep me happy for now. As for the book itself, I will for sure admire it and page through it, but will stick to the actual comics for reading the stories in order to better preserve the volumes. Although, thanks to the $.99 sale last weekend on the first 10 IDW digital TMNT, I won't even have to pull my comics out of the bags to re-read the stories now.

1) Signature plates are attached to the book. 2) That's definitely possible. We don't have it on the schedule, but we are actively looking for great products, and I know a TMNT artist's edition portfolio is something I would be excited for. |

depends on if I can get a blue copy for a reasonable price. I'm hoping I can trade one of these guys who bought the blue for the OA, for a much rarer piece of OA

I'm in for one red and one black label edition. I love the original art and I'm a sucker for the different slipcase/traycase and signature plate artwork. It's a bit much to drop $400 on these two after shipping, but I have lots to sell on ebay soon so the funds will be there. Hopefully I get Raph in one of my two sets

I impulsively purchased the red and the black, because of the OA. I might consider selling the physical books, or at least the black one, as I could really care less about it/them....depends on what I could get for them. I will hopefully frame the OA
To me I just paid $400 for 2 Duncan commissions, one with full color, and ill get some fancy books as a bonus. |

I'm wondering if they'll planning to do something like that with the Classic Collections. Now that's something I could totally get behind.

Would've been considerably cheaper had you just ACTUALLY commissioned him. Your call, though.

I put together a post listing off some things I would be willing to trade for the Change is Constant Blue Label book.
Check it out! Thanks! http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/sho...26&postcount=2 |

Can you please confirm which statement is accurate regarding the signature plate? The interview with Eastman indicates the signature plate will be a separate piece not attached to the book. Thanks in advance.

Also, it looks like all 25 black label sets have sold out. |

No problem, I was just curious. I would prefer something like that be a separate piece so I could frame it or display it on it's own. I understand that most sketch plates/signature plates are intended to be attached to the book though.
Congratulations by the way in selling out of the blue and black labels in one day. That seems pretty quick for such high dollar items. |

That book is not worth that price. I don't care how limited it is. This is just collector's bait.
