I mean...they are running out of places to put the migrants. They are also refusing to move to more affordable but less nice areas.

New York asked for it though, so what can you do?

I mean, they really dont have any kind of pull when it comes to refusing to move anywhere else. They dont LIVE here. New York's just bowing down to them.

As the video implies, they are getting shipped to NYC because of the specific "right to help" law there. Can't seemingly do it anywhere else to offload the cost and keep the voters happy.

NY voted for this, and they will continue to vote blue no matter who. What’s next, they will demand citizens give up their homes to house illegal immigrants?

Coming from a family of legal immigrants who went thru the legal process of obtaining VISA to come to America, it is sad to see America being invaded by 3rd world illegal immigrants who don’t respect our country and it’s values.

One of President Trump’s 2024 campaign promises is to have the “largest deportation effort in history”. At this point it’s necessary, our borders have been wide open for 3 years, we simply don’t have the resources for all these illegal immigrants. It’s costing taxpayers a fortune, not to mention the rampant crime that goes un-checked.

In all fairness, Trump said the same thing in 2016 but ended up deporting significantly less than even Obama did.

Which is worse: to be for stronger border policies or to just let anyone waltz into this country and give them free money without even checking their backgrounds?

Didn't he get the numbers down dramatically by working with Mexico to get them to discourage them from crossing their country? Whatever he was doing was working a lot better then whats going on now.

That's probably a thing that's being overlooked right there. While Obama had more deportations... with Trump (particularly with the "remain in Mexico" policy), large numbers never even made it in to need to be deported to start with.

To be fair, if Mexico sorted out the drug cartels and that aspect better, there'd be less need for Mexicans to flee to the US...

Which, of course, is not a valid reason to seek asylum anyway. And cartels, while embedded in large swaths throughout Mexico, generally don't just kill people to kill people. If you're not in a rival cartel and didn't snitch on anybody, they're generally not going to mess with you. And if you're in a part of Mexico where you don't like a certain cartel, Mexico is a big place... why not go somewhere else in Mexico where they're not?

It'd be like me dealing with daily drive-bys in Compton, California, then fleeing to Canada to seek asylum because I'm afraid of the Hoova Crips gang doing weekly drive-bys in my neighborhood, despite there being 49 other states and hundreds of cities I could move to instead. Which is ridiculous.

Someone above said that these people are being dumped in New York, but the situation here in the Chicago area is a disaster. These people have been bused to the actual city and are staying in "Warming Buses" for God's sake.

There have also been caravans dropped off at Metra Train stations as far into suburbia as Naperville.

It's literally like distributing an army.

Until that video, I wasn't aware it was going on anywhere but NYC for the legal reason I stated previously. So the buses are literally coming in, and dumping (like fly tipping almost) immigrants and then fast tracking out of there? Surely that can't be legal?

I don't know if the US laws are different to UK, but threat to life is a valid reason to apply for asylum here. A number due to certain African countries imprisoning, torturing, or killing homosexual people for starters.

As for moving elsewhere in Mexico, that generally requires you selling where you live. And if it's a terrible, crime ridden place... who is going to buy your property to afford to move out?

Texas ain’t playing these commie games. Texas National Guard is actually defending the U.S. border at Eagle Pass, sending illegal immigrants back and arresting those who cross illegally for criminal trespass.

If only all border states would do this.

I honestly don't know what would be better - arresting border crosses and having the documentation with a court date (that nobody shows up for), OR arresting border crosses and putting them on a bus that immediately brings them 100 back into Mexico somewhere.

If they ever did the latter, give them a map showing the location of a legal entry point with the paperwork to apply for citizenship.

Wasn’t suggesting anything the such, just it’s the crime equivalent of negative equity, you ain’t going nowhere as you can’t sell.

Group of illegals in NYC assault 2 police officers. 4 arrested and released without bail, I guess illegals don’t face the same legal consequences as citizens if they break the law?

https://www.foxnews.com/us/migrants-...ome-report.amp

Allegedly they’ve fled from NY to CA via taxpayer funded bus fare, and now the DA wants to track them down, after setting them free.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...cked-cops.html

Heard they won’t even get DUI’s or deportation if they are caught drunk driving, just catch and release. Very dangerous.

Inside the shelters for illegals, pretty wild, can only imagine the mental health issues in this type of environment
