F.B.Owens

F.B.Owens voiced Leatherhead, guardian, Traximus and few other charters. This Friday coming up i will be interviewing him and i didn't know if any of you wanted me to ask him any of your questions.

Thanks for the notice, speaking as a huge 2003 Leatherhead fan! Some questions I have for him (2nd-person context refers to him):

1. Which 2003 character was your favorite to voice?

2. Was it difficult to get in character in at least some cases?

3. How do you feel about the current state of the franchise, particularly when it comes to characters you voiced in 2003 such as Leatherhead?

Could also ask if he has any funny stories of the cast at the time?

If I was going to ask him a question, it would be: why did Leatherhead have a different voice in season four?

That's awesome! Can you ask him about his feelings on the show's legacy after 17 years? Especially because it's often overlooked in favor of the 1987 and 2012 cartoons.

I know this isn't TMNT related, but Mr. Owens also voiced GOLD Roger on 4kids One Piece show. It would be cool, if you could ask him about his experience on the show and if he could say a quote from the show (the show was cancelled before the majority of GOLD Roger's character was shown so Owens never got to voice these significant scenes).

"HAHAHAHA, Joy-Boy, I wish I was born in the same era as you! You left behind such an unbelievable treasure! What a funny story! Hey, crew! Why don't we name this last island that no one has ever been to...LAUGH TALE

"Destiny. Fate. Dreams. These unstoppable ideas are held deep in the heart of man. As long as there people who seek freedom in this life, These things shall not vanish from the Earth."

"I'm not going to die here, partner."

"Wanna turn the world upside down with me?"

"My treasure is yours for the taking, But you'll have to find it first. I left everything I own... In One Piece."

Would really appreciate it!! Thanks so much

Okay I will see what I can do about the quotes. I might not be able to get them all but I will at least get one in.

-Do you believe Leatherhead works better as an ally or a villain?
-Do you believe Leatherhead works better with just his brute strength or with weapons? If the latter, what type of weapon do you believe is most befitting for him?

I think that might not be a very good question to ask. Remember, this man is an actor and not necessarily an active fan, he might only be familiar through Leatherhead by voicing him in one cartoon.

You do raise a good point that he might not be that invested beyond what he’s contributed in the past. If only we knew in advance how interested he still is before the interview happens.

Still, in the event that he is, I do feel those questions (as well as a similar submission of my own) are worth addressing, even if partially because of how much a fan I am of ally!Leatherhead.

Don't worry I will be adding at least one of all your questions. If I don't say it specifically it's because I might have worded it differently

Pardon the excitement, but now that it’s the day, what time can we expect this interview to go online? Also, having looked at your YouTube channel briefly and seeing some prior uploads, will this be live-streamed?

EDIT: having watched your livestream going on atm, I think I got the answers I needed in that regard. XD For those who weren't there, the interview sounds like it will be recorded privately, but will be uploaded at some point next week.
