John Barrowman has joined the cast in a recurring role! No word on who his character is (some think he's Deathstroke) but the character's description is a "well-dressed man [who is] as mysterious as he is wealthy … he is an acquaintance of the Queen family and a prominent figure in Starling City."

Well now HERE's a casting I never expected for the show! Australian actress Jessica De Gouw has been cast as The Huntress/Helena Bertenelli. This is a recurring role and possible love interest for ole Ollie! *blinks* So we can't get Batman but we can get somebody associated with him.

The flashbacks to the island have been a tad confusing but so far it seems the big bad is Ollie's mom.

Oooh!! Ben Browder's gonna be in Arrow!! SW33T!! He's the leader of the Blackhawk Squadron and will be popping up in ep 11. K at this point Im wondering who ISN'T gonna be showing up in Arrow (well Superman won't cuz of the no super powers thing...unless he shows up just as Clark Kent).

this show is pretty good. i like this portrayal of green arrow. may not be an exact comic replica. but still a very good representation. he's a little batman-ish with all his brooding. but since they extended ollie's exile from mere months to 5 years... it's understandable. not to mention... deathstroke was a badass in his only fight scene.

Teen Wolf actor Colton Haynes has been cast as... Roy Harper (Speedy, Red Arrow, Arsenal)!! Roy is described as “a handsome, street-savvy, teenager from ‘the Glades,’ the harsh, poverty-stricken portion of Starling City.”

No idea which ep Roy first pops up in but the episode will air sometime next year.

TRUE! and i like the goatee!

this show is really getting good.
+ ollie's archery looks really cool and fluid.
+ slade wilson just steals the episode every time he is on. the dude is just plain badass.
+ diggle is an interesting character. i just hope they give him something else to do than give ollie pep talks.
+ action is top notch. fight scenes are... well.. actual fight scenes and not super-pushes.
+ more felicity smoak!

- with the recent introduction of roy harper... i'm not too thrilled with the whole "abercrombie-ish" persona they're giving him and the whole thea-love-interest thing seems forced.
- hope they stray away from making it get too batman-ish.
- GOATEE!
- laurel: less kissing more fighting (and scream)
