I wish I could go back to this, I don't like to get political contrary to many of my posts might lead someone to believe, I'm trying to tone it down for the most part, but it just seems that even when you try to avoid it everyone keeps slapping it in your face and bringing politics into everything.

I think a lot of the internet took notice before but I didn't really notice it until 2016, that's when people really went overboard and unavoidable IMHO.

I didn't notice it before either, but thanks to feigbusters, it became UNAVOIDABLE to talk about it. try and talk about the movie, and people constantly brought it up. instantly putting you on one side because of THEIR beliefs...just because you didn't like the movie. and no pointing anything out for them would change their one set mind. that's the only reason I choose the anti SJW stance when I ignored it all before. I could have cared less about all that nonsense before. And I still really don't. But, I feel it's important to point out the crazy and the hypocrisy when it arises.

That movie has all the signs of a dumpster fire in the making, yes. It has the potential to be the first Star Wars bomb, comparatively speaking. If it does, it will be interesting to see the reaction from Disney, who will have to deal with having made and released a turd in the most lucrative brand in the world and figure out how much damage that might do.

I'm looking forward to Solo more than Ep. IX. I don't know, I have a feeling that even though it seems like it'll suck, it could impress me, while I can't think of anything IX could do to change my mind.

I've got to admit, I don't know where I stand on the Solo movie.

I don't really have a lot invested, so I think the only way I'll really be disappointed is if they add Nu Trek level visuals to what should really be a vintage looking production.
