From his daughter on FB:
"Dad update. He had a heart attack as well as diabetic ketoacidosis. Hard to say which caused what. He will be here awhile. They need to get the DKA under control before they can treat the heart attack. Depending on results on Monday, when they do the cardiac catheterization, they will be able to determine how to treat the heart attack. We have to wait til they can get the DKA under control. Depending on what they find, they might just place him on meds, or he will possibly need a stent, or bypass heart surgery. I hope he doesn't need the surgery because it could be potentially dangerous. If an emergency arises between now and Monday they might have to do an emergency surgery. Please keep him in your prayers that he will get through this."
