Ah okay. I honestly wasn't aware that those were supposed to be general releases. Anyway back to my original point, the chances of us seeing more OT figures/collector sets at future conventions is pretty much a no go at this point according to NECA.

So if we won't get new figures at nycc then what will neca do. They have to do something comparable to the sdcc set.

See NECA speculation thread...could do vintage toy colored variants of toon sculpts, more foot soldier packs, etc.

It is possible NECA is done with TMNT exclusives after this SDCC, but I doubt it. They can still get more bang for their buck on the FW bucks and scaled down Movie Turtles.

From what I remember, last year Randy Falk said that they are not even considering working on 7" movie turtles as of yet since they have too much other stuff coming down the pipe. They already had to work on the 30th anniversary of the toon turtles, and now on top of that they are marketing the daylights out of their new DC/Dark Horse lineup and as of next year they are taking steps to plan out their 40th Anniversary lineup for the Aliens Franchise. They said on twitter that perhaps by 2019 they will make the movie turtles in the 7" scale, but I would estimate a more generous date of 2020 since that's the 30th anniversary of the film.

I hope they can make a 1/4 Shredder, Foot, and Casey with the same body to save money/time and pump them out.

So I have a notice popping up in MyUPS app tell me that my deliv should be here on 14th. But....it says "shipment info voided". Never seen that before. I hope it does show up on the 14th.

I suspect part of the reason he would say that is to not cannibalise sales of the current 1:4 scale movie turtles. While very popular, I'm sure there are fans who would hold off buying the 1:4 turtles if they knew 7"' versions would be coming out next year.

I think 7" Henson turtles are a very strong possibilty for SDCC 2018 exclusives (and I think them being very hard to get will be an equally strong possibility).

Hold up...you got a shipping notice from NECA for these figures? Damn. I was told that these figures would arrive as early as preview night but nothing was indicated that they would be coming in just a couple of days. Hope I get a shipping notice soon.

And weren't these supposed to go out UPS ground?

Yeah says deliv date says the 14th. But I recently moved and I just noticed I never updated my billing info in PayPal. It doesn't match what's in necas system. So I'm frantically trying to get a hold of them.

Yeah just got a new notification with a new tracking number so I'm thinking I'm good. They replied back looking for my order number so I'm having them check my order.
