What are the odds that the monster arc will delve deeper into the world finding out about the Turtles' existence? Renet telling the Turltes that would've been like a prophesy hanging over their heads.

Ooh that sounds interesting and I think could happen. It did happen in the 80's version didn't it? I was watching a random episode on tv the other day and it had the turtles under police custody or something so they could refrence the 80s series if they do.

Yeah season 5 has been great so far, and I reckon its going to be my favourite of all the others due to the multiple part stories. It's so cool that nothing seems rushed when they don't squeeze everything into a 20 minute episode.

TMNT just posted that Usagi arc promo on Instagram, it's the same one from Sunday with small new scenes.

Usagi looks great, too bad this is the final season so he can't become a recurring character in the series. Just another reason I wanted the Nick cartoon to last at least 7 seasons.

For all we know, Stan only licensed the character for these two episodes and no others. In that case it wouldn't matter if they got 2 or 5 or 10 or any other arbitrary amount of additional seasons.

Well usually when they license out a character they don't mind if they continue to use them until the show ends. Only in the original cartoon did Usagi seem like a one-shot deal for two episodes.

4kids Usagi debuted in the Battle Nexus 4-parter at the end of Season 2, then returned in Season 3 for the Ultimate Draco story, then appeared in Season 4 when he and Gensouke visited Earth for an episode, and then he got a cameo in Season 7 at April's wedding.

Yep looks like there will be some 3rd movie references in it and one reference I like to see is, if that kid Pug (according to Brandon he's called Pugtaro) is going to be trapped in a fire and Mikey goes in to save him.

I think there's going to be another near turtle death/mini sacrifice but this time it will be Raph because he aint in the pics (unless he's just out of shot) and Mikey looks so upset and Leo is comforting him.
