Technodrome Random Fan Art
Thought it would be fun to have one thread where anyone could post their fan art without making their own thread. Not meant to replace the personal threads of all the talented Drome artists. Just a place for everyone to share any turtle art no matter how random; sketches, doodles, finished pieces, mixed media, anything you've made and want to share. Even if you're like me and not very good at drawing.
I'll start with a good example of how random things can get. Was sitting in my friends car and drew Raph on a diet coke can: Spoiler:
Posted this next one in another thread..but another example, my turtle easter eggs made using a normal four color dye kit: Spoiler:
P.S. My apologies if this thread already exists, I did look, but couldn't find anything similar. |

"Damn it Jim, I'm a filmmaker, not an artist."
If weird coke can doodles aren't your thing, here's a pencil sketch I drew today after creating this thread. I drew it really fast (took longer to scan than to draw) and it's my first time ever drawing the nick turtles. I also did something wrong scanning it because it looks a lot lighter than the real thing. But enough excuses.
It's my imagining of the nick turtles meeting one of my favorite Mirage/TMNT characters. I call it "Enter The Fugitoid" |

I think you've captured their likenesses and expressions pretty well. Did you have a reference picture or is this completely from your imagination?

Thanks! I looked at a handful of reference pictures of each turtle online as i was sketching them to get an idea of how they would express the emotion i wanted each to have. I was looking at pictures of all the different fugitoids too when i sketched his shadow...but he mainly looks like the 2003 one.

Cool thread idea.
If anyone has ever bought anything from me on ebay recently you may have seen one of these: Just some quick and dirty head sketches I drew in the same style I drew them as a preteen. I haven't attempted to seriously draw anything tmnt since the late 80s/early 90s. Maybe I should attempt something soon, problem is finding the time to do it justice. |

You could even do a version with a pizza slice replacing the original triangle/pyramid and the color spectrum as the 4 headband colors. |

Okay, I'll post something. This was something I did as an experiment in old school Mirage toning. Right now I'm going through my Raph phase so that's who this is.

It's really cool to scroll through and see so much talent in varied styles.
Candy Kappa, Awesome take on the nick turtles. The expressions are great, their characters really shine through. Sabacooza, That Raph is fantastic! The toning really works and I love your style. The great mixture of emotions on Raph's face and the overall bittersweet (IMO) mood of this piece really connects with me. |
