This is true exactly 101% of the time, allowing for a 1% margin of error.

Or maybe and get this, some people might think certain adaptions improve on the source material

So you are saying that comic book Mr Freeze is better than Batman TAS Mr Freeze where the former was a generic villain and the latter was a 3 dimensional character.

To be honest we haven't seen enough of Jennika as a turtle to really gauge how she'll be as a character but frankly I'd be hard pressed to imagine she'll end up as bad as Venus.

There's a reason why most people who think she can be revived go for reinventing the character in which case it's not really Venus anymore.

We aint seeing those characters again. Other than Null would anyone even want to?

Movies and TV adaptions of comics when done right can distill the essential elements and strip away the meaningless ephemera that build up after decades worth of ongoing continuity. Think the Richard Donner Superman movie or Captain America: Civil War which most people would cop to being better than the comic event.

To be honest, the same could have been said about Null, Darius Dunn and the Street Phantoms. Sure, Null was big in the Archie comics, but what average TMNT joe would have even heard of him?

As far as I know, that's because children's comics are less limited by censors.

They're entitled to their bad opinions, but they're ignorant regardless. I don't willingly converse with such people.

Batman vs TMNT movie is objectively better than the comic.

Aye, kinda like how the sh*t I took after lunch was better than the one I took after breakfast.

Kidding, kidding. Kinda. Kinda mostly kidding.

You're going to piss somebody off saying that, for sure.

I can definitely, definitely say that the "Umbrella Academy" TV show was a whole hell of a lot better than the comic, though. To say that the comics were "incoherent" would be the understatement of the year.

Consider me pissed off.

However, I absolutely agree with Andrew. Umbrella Academy on Netflix is far better than the comics.

Oh don't get me started with Umbrella Academy I tried reading the 1st volume but everything was a jumbled mess that I was put off from finishing it.

Not having read her arc yet I'm interested to know why you say this? Is she not well written or something?
