Series 3 pics! Newcomers include Bebop, Rocksteady, Spirit Quest Turtles, unmasked Shredder, Steranko, spirit Splinter, and SLAAAAAAAAASH!
Slash was literally the only character I was waiting on, so needless to say, I'm ecstatic. ^_^ |

Damn, might be time I finally start collecting these. I love the Mystic Turtles set. Anyone who does correctly what Playmates fails to, gets a sale from me.

The only thing I'm a little sad about is that A human Xever probably isn't in series 3 unless he's a Toys R Us exclusive. My Bradford minimate could use a Xever to go along with him. But yeah all of the Figures shown look really fantastic and I'm super pumped.

I'm a little dissatisfied with that Blue Fire Splinter. He really doesn't look how splinter did in the show. If I wasn't a completionist I'd skip him but I want to own every TMNT minimate .

He looks quite nice. I love how huge his body is compared to usual Minimates. XD |

I hope they make the rest of Mighty Mutanimals, I think they would look good in the minimate style.

I'd add in tampos for the nettings on Raph's arms, and change the hue of the markings on Don's legs. But that's it.
Kind of sad that DST/AA does such great work with so many limitations, while Playmates has more freedom and retail opportunities but almost always disappoints. |

The final mini mate will probably be clear, I've noticed the prototypes often do not use clear plastic.

In all fairness I think it might be the other way around. The mystic turtles are desgined by Playmates and Nick just chose if they can fit the design in one of the episodes. Kind of like the Larp turtles.

Slash and Rocksteady are my favorite out of wave 3 so far. I just love the bigger bulky look they have. Bebop is alsi up there because his head and arms look so accurate. DST makes me want to stop collecting from playmates because we're getting another company who can make a lot of figures from the Nick toon. Hopefully we get a lot more waves because these minimates kick a**.

Agreed. Slash not only looks to be one of the best TMNT minimates but one of the best I have seen! We need MORE mutants, and the 80s tutles would be nice, since they actually appeared in the Nick show.
