Let's take it to the polls!

I average a couple of beers every 2-3 weeks or so. Other drinks are more expensive and generally stronger. I'm a lightweight, so a few beers are good enough to give me a buzz.
I don't smoke at all. |

I think this thread was done not too long before.
Anyways, I don't do either for religious reasons and have zero interest in both. There should be a poll option for abstainers. |

Could have put an option for no on either... lol.
Never smoked. Only ever drank once or twice. I never saw the point in getting sh!tfaced. |

I've yet to find a beer that has any taste. It's all just really bland pissy stuff.

Heck no to both. I don't want to make my life (and the others' around me) miserable over some cancer sticks or bottles. Besides, they'll stunt your life span.

I might as well list my favourite beers: Leffe Radieuse Leffe Blonde Leffe Bruin Guinness Draught Erdinger Pikantus Super Bock Carlsberg (guilty pleasure) Drinking is fine as long as you do it in moderation. Pretty sure it's scientifically proven by now that a glass of red wine one in a while is beneficial for you. Drinking doesn't automatically equal having a bottle of whiskey per night. |

Used to be straight-edge, not so much anymore.
Can't say as I ever enjoyed a smoke, though I've tried in the past. But I CAN say I've enjoyed a beverage or two. Overenjoyed? Yeah, on occasion. Learning curve can be steep sometimes. I prefer IPAs, fruity cocktails, and white wines.

Don't smoke, and may have a drink occasionally. Last thing I drank was wine back in January.

I love a cold beer. But I don't smoke. Do people still smoke? This isn't the 80's any more.

Plenty of people still smoke tobacco nowadays, though. Or perhaps just not so much in your area? |

Yes, Germany has some pretty good beers, but I like Belgian ones even more. I think Belgium is the queen of beer, personally.
Although, tbh, the German beers that get exported the most, at least here, are usually from Bayern. |

I don't smoke or drink. Never had an interest in doing so.

I think it was the unfiltered wheat beers that started me off. Had a brief stop over in dark stouts, but firmly settled into IPAs. Though I have a HUGE soft spot for lambics. Especially peach lambics. Oh and hard ciders. I can't say I entirely agree with the anti-can thing, because my favorite beer only comes in cans. Watchusett Larry.

I'm a beer girl. Good beer. Not the pisswater that is mass marketed here in the US

Very moderate amounts of drinking, but it's hard to find what I like. Usually just a glass or so when I visit my mom and brother. Because they always have booze .
There's actually a cosmopolitan that I made in front of me, but man am I taking it slow, because it's not taking much to get me a little fuzzy. Plus I'm not a big vodka fan. I'm just in it for the cranberry juice.

I don't smoke, can't even stand the smell after my dad quit.
I drink at parties, but I don't like beer or wine, so it's all liquor and mixed drinks for me. I also like mead and sake Last edited by Candy Kappa; 03-07-2017 at 04:11 PM. |
