Plush Project(s?)
I've finally gotten around to being able to sew again - or at least having some motivation.
So I thought I'd start with something that I thought would be easy, and ended up being a little more challenging. In hindsight, I should have taken pictures from the beginning, but didn't. But I decided to start with 2003 Ch'rell The eyes will be done after I get the right color of blue felt, which I should be able to acquire pretty easily. Hopefully I'll be able to do more in the future, and maybe I could even take commissions. Doing plush turtles might be fun...

And doesn't seem to have posted again since for some reason? At least as far as I've paid attention to.
I made a second one - smaller and pink. Based off my reinterpretation of Aska from one of the games. She's shown up a little bit in my art thread, but not quite this derpy. Though, I think it ended up being endearing. It mostly makes me think of this

I love these plushes!
I'll show them to my girlfriend, she's a lot into DIY and I'd like a Mirage Utrom plush . Maybe that will inspire her. |

An Alopex plush would be a nice idea. And also, more Utroms. Maybe a Mouser, too?

Oh wow, I didn't think about a MOUSER !
I'd have to find some plush patterns and combine them for Alopex...and probably make my own for a MOUSER. But that would be awesome. I actually cleaned up the Utrom plushes and made more. Cleaned up the Ch'rell design so he was machine sewn rather by hand and ironed on the eyes, mouth, and sides of the fins. I found that Krang doesn't look exactly sober. Spoiler:
The tiny baby probably needs some more cleanup, his threads are showing One handful of babie.

Maybe a Roadkill Rodney plush? Or even some more obscure enemy robots? Or ICK? Or Mayhem, April’s little Mutant pet from the Rise show? Even Screwloose?

I've since touched up my Krang plush since I realized the shape of the cuts was really weird and uneven, but I don't like the trimmed look. Might redo him entirely and make that plush a new character.
Mayhem might be super cute though. Fur that looks like fabric is a lot more expensive, though. I haven't quite had the chance to play around with other designs though, since I've been in Ohio for months. I'm home now though

The best thing about characters like Screwloose, Mayhem, etc. is that they can be life-sized and even used for cosplay purposes. I’d also like to see the Krang fix. And... what if you did an Utrom puppet?

A posable Utrom in a design I like would be difficult enough . The new version of Krang is around somewhere, but at this point, I'm just thinking of making a new Krang from scratch and just...making the original a totally different Utrom.
