People probably collect them cause they are hella cute and fits in with Imaginext and other preschooler toys.

And some people might be collecting them in hopes of actually collecting a complete Mutanimals team.

Solid idea, if Pete & the others come out, I may have to make that happen for myself.

I think HSH is actually really done well. The paint alone is way better. All standing together looks awesome.

Some of the 2016 movie mega bloks are popping up on amazon. These better not be this expensive when they hit stores...

They're not sold by Amazon, they're sold by Toy Wiz, which is why the prices are ridiculous on them.

I stopped by the Walmart just outside of town since I was in the area and to see if they had the new HSH (Bebop, Rocksteady etc..) No luck there, but I did find the new Giant Mutations Turtles. So then I stopped at another store on my way back to work and found these guys:

Well, I found Turflytle and Rat King to be honest. I had to go to yet a third Walmart to complete the trio.

Man your website got me into collecting turtles when I was 12- I'll retract my statement

I used to refresh your page waiting for your next review- You were always brutally honest when it came to sculpt/paint/etc. I think I started going there in 2005ish? Maybe a bit later?

They seriously left Speed Demon Donnie's body unpainted!? When it was a sloppy looking prototype that was one thing but that looks horrible as a retail product.

I actually just realized this after you pointed it out...that's a huge bummer and I was super pumped about picking Speed Demon up. I guess I'll have to look at it in person now.

Hmm thanks for the info! I'd consider these at $7 a piece if all of the movie stuff wasn't coming out soon. Kind of staying low until all of the film stuff drops as I actually plan on getting the Playmates movie line this time through along with the Technodrome and of course the Mega Bloks figures.

Speaking of the Mega Bloks figures, I wish they would have stuck with the blind bags. That was fun for the first Nick wave. Hopefully these retail for around the same price as the blind bags at least. I can see them being a little more though like $3.99 or $4.99.

I bought a Raphael from B&N a few weeks ago for $2.50.

After I opened him up and put him together I still felt ripped off.
