Pyromania -- Def Leppard
Adrenalize -- Def Leppard
The Very Best of Dokken -- Dokken

All purchased at a used music store, at half price. Can't beat that.

Def Leppard are the kings of 80s rock, hands-down. They may not be the "heaviest" (they never pretended to call themselves "heavy metal," after all) or the grungiest; their music is for people who realize that screaming Satanic references for four and a half minutes a good rock song does not make.

Both of their 80s albums, Pyromania and Hysteria, are absolute classics. Their 1992 album Adrenalize doesn't rock nearly as much as their previous epics, but the tunes are still beautiful and it's still a damn fine record.

What are your favourite Leppard songs, Michi?

Yeah I cant stand it when people try to classify them as metal, they aren't anything near metal. One of the things I like best abou them is how intricate alot of their songs and arrangments are. It's really cool to sit there and really listen to all the little things they do on each track, especially Hysteria.

"Photograph" is one of my favorite songs ever.

I think the last of their albums that could be classified as "heavy metal" or "metal" was indeed Pyromania. By Hysteria, they'd practically solidified their place among the kings of "stadium rock" or "heavy rock."

Ditto.

My favourite Def Leppard songs are probably...

Billy's Got a Gun
Die Hard the Hunter
Comin' Under Fire
Animal
Hysteria
Armageddon It
Love and Affection
Tear it Down
Stand Up (Kick Love into Motion)

Just got the newest Incubus Light Grenades. Personally I think it's as good as/if not better than morning view. Great CD.

If i-Tunes counts, I bought Meg & Dia - Something Real a week ago as well as their three other misc. tracks. If i-Tunes doesn't count, then I'm planning to buy the CD soon as the quality of the tracks is somewhat less perfect than the promo tracks I've heard on myspace.com/meganddia. It would only be wasting money if I didn't like them that much. ^_^

Good buys, dude! Anyway:

CD:
Soundtrack to the movie "Running Scared", an older film (1986) not to be confused with a more recent film of the same name. And "Let Love In" by The Goo Goo Dolls.

My last cd purchases were Cascada-Everytime We Touch & Linkin Park-Minutes to Midnight...I know, how random: euro dance music and whatever Linkin Park is classified as (I buy my music @ Best Buy & they had it under Rock)

My Last music DVD purchase Pet Shop Boys Popart
