It was more a kid dressed like Ness than actually Ness.

There are also some other pedestrians that look like they might be from games, but I didn't recognize them. Does Earthbound have a little blonde girl with pigtails in a pink dress? (I don't play JRPGs so I'm only familiar with Earthbound stuff via Smash Bros)

Oh! Yes! That must be Paula from Earthbound! Or quite possibly Ana from the original Mother! I'd need to see it to make sure though.

Thanks for the pic. Very cool seeing characters from the Mother series making cameo appearances.
